A wide range of personalities and styles stepped onto the American Music Awards red carpet tonight. And while there was some color, the best looks were neutral, black, and all-a-glitter. From Rihanna's laser cut Marchesa to Kristen Bell's cool Christian Cota skirt and top, silhouettes were experimental. Glitzy accessories topped off most of the contender's looks. It's official: Carrie Underwood is the Beyonce of the country music world. Last night, at the CMAs festivities, the songstress stole the spotlight with her magical voice, and more importantly, her stunning frocks. The country singer changed a whopping 10 times during the show. I like how she experimented with different styles via sequin minis, country belle gowns, tiered frocks, and even a sexy two-piece performance ensemble complete with sequin shorties. No doubt, Carrie loves fashion as much as she loves music. Keep on to experience Carrie madness . . .

The divas of country were out last night at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Carrie, Taylor, and Miley mixed up their styles throughout the evening, while beauties Marisa Miller and Nicole Kidman (in back-plunging L'Wren Scott) shined all night long. Badgley Mischka is celebrating 20 years of decadent design with some of their favorite Hollywood clients. After all, if it weren't for them, the brand wouldn't be as popular as it is today. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, the designing duo enlisted Eva Longoria, Carrie Underwood, Brooke Shields, Lauren Hutton, and Anjelica Huston to pose alongside them in an array of their decadent couture gowns - luckies! “Obviously it shows we believe in glamour more than ever. It’s what we do and what we love to do,” said Badgley.

It may look dingy at first glance, but the dark backdrop in Paramount Studios only brings more attention to the designers' intricate creations. My favorite has to Carrie Underwood in the lovely lavender ruffled frock. "I love Badgley Mischka for not only making the most beautiful gowns, but also for bringing together such strong, amazing women to celebrate 20 years of glamour and fashion," said Underwood. You can't go wrong with beautiful dresses and dazzling stars. I love this, do you?

Compared to other award shows, the Grammy Awards tends to bring out the funky side of stars. You never know what you're going to see. Five ladies in particular brought their fashion A game tonight. Black was a big color on the red carpet, but Taylor Swift, in Kaufman Franco, stood ahead of the black pack. On the lighter end of the spectrum was Katy Perry in her dreamy pink Basil Soda gown. And, speaking of funky, Jennifer Hudson's origami dress had me staring. Together, we determined the standouts, but who takes the cake?

Carrie proved to be the hostess with the mostest at last night's CMA awards. She had so many wardrobe changes, I couldn't squeeze them all in here. But, these are my favorites. Carrie has range; she loves color as much as neutrals, texture equally well as minimalism. She is a glamour girl though, always fond of ruffles, sparkle, and embellishments. You never know what to expect from the Grammys. Let's face it: While musicians may be very talented, that doesn't mean they know how to impress through dress. I have to say most of the red carpet looks were disappointing tonight, but there were a few that pulled through and managed to turn that talent to fashion. Who was your fave?!
