There's nothing better than slipping into a cozy cashmere sweater right about now. Yes, it's a splurge, but also a classic. In fact, my favorite heather gray cashmere sweater is five years old - and still going strong. Her Spring '10 collection, modeled by Poppy Delevigne, is streamlined, impeccably tailored, and perfect for everyday wear. With a clientele including the likes of Kate Moss, Renee Zellweger, Agyness Deyn, and Sienna Miller, I'm sure you can admire it, too. Fun fact: the law school graduate also designs jewelry and knitwear. Awesome.

Elle Macpherson, Cashmere Aficionado

Elle Macpherson is a force to be reckoned with. Being a Super isn't enough for her; the model turned lingerie designer has added yet another specialty to her prestigious portfolio - clothing designer. For her debut, Elle created a limited-edition Frangipani Sweater for her brother and sister-in-law's label Banjo & Matilda. The cashmere sweater, left, is designed with three delicate frangipani flowers stitched into the wrist. The opposite side features the phrase "Love & Light" embroidered on the sleeve. Elle's cashmere loveliness costs $363 and also comes in pebble blue.

Lutz & Patmos have been crossing their fingers for this opportunity to arise and now it has; the brand has enlisted British actress and singer Jane Birkin as their latest guest designer.

“She has this really relaxed, nonchalant style without being overtly sexy, which is very sexy,” said Lutz who also mentioned that Birkin, mother to models Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon, has played their unofficial muse for quite a while.

Look forward to seeing Birkin's alluring, low-key style translated into organic cashmere sweaters and slim-fitting tanks detailed with raw necklines and crochet. Prices are to be determined.

It's the holidays, and grandma is enjoying her retirement on some faraway island enjoying the cool sea breeze. Thus, no time to knit a holiday sweater.

Well, if you've been good this year, Santa might gift you with a snazzy piece from Tommy Hilfiger's new Happy Holidays collection. The exclusive clothing and accessories line is filled with festively tasteful items such as this sequined shift dress, along with cozy cashmere jumpers, soft leather belts, and gloves.

On Our Radar: Lutz & Patmos Spawns Leroy & Perry

Lutz & Patmos's Tina Lutz and Marcia Patmos are expanding. Leroy & Perry is their latest brainchild and it brings us environmentally friendly sweaters without the high price.

It all started when that the vice president of fashion merchandising at Barneys New York mentioned how tough it was to find good sweaters for Barneys Co-op. Lutz & Patmos partnered with Barneys Green and has created three eco-friendly styles for Spring and a handful of items for Fall. Each will retail for less than $300 at Barneys and one percent of all proceeds will benefit The Alliance for Climate Protection. Whether the duo plans to roll out the collection to other stores remains to be seen.

Fab Flash: Kirsten Dunst's Cashmere Collection

Kirsten Dunst is really throwing herself into the fashion ring recently: first appearing in the Spring Miu Miu ads and now collaborating with luxe knitwear line Lutz + Patmos.

She follows in the footsteps of Liv Tyler, Sofia Coppola, and Julianne Moore, who have all designed for the cashmere-friendly label in the past, and her capsule collection debuts on Feb. 3, during the upcoming New York Fashion Week!
