But with the latest ad campaign from their casual sportswear brand Textile, we're feeling the pull of their lived-in, effortless basics. Set in the arid California desert, the collection feels like a vintage excerpt from '60s Americana, with an emphasis on the brand's denim and worn-in tees. Angelina Jolie Joins the Celebrity Designer Gang

The celebrity designer train just got a huge dose of A-list - that's because Angelina Jolie is hopping on it! The actress, UN goodwill ambassador, and busy mom has teamed up with former CEO of Asprey, Robert Procop, who's been designing pieces for her for the past decade, to create a classic collection she will also likely wear. The first of the duo's collaboration came to life on the red carpet at Salt's Berlin premiere (below). You can also see some pieces - namely a vintage diamond choker and yellow sapphire, cushion-cut earrings - in Angelina's new flick, The Tourist. But unlike many celebrity lines, this collection won't be on sale in stores. Rather, it will be sold privately through Procop's clients, with all of the proceeds going to her charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to Bring Their Fashionable Lifestyle to Kohl's

Following in the footsteps of Lauren Conrad and Vera Wang, Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony are partnering with Kohl's to bring us a lifestyle fashion venture. This isn't new territory for Jennifer, who launched her Sweetface apparel label in 2001, including the J Lo by Jennifer Lopez collection, which earned a spot on the catwalk at New York Fashion Week before closing in 2009. While Sweetface generated a reported $400 million in 2004, it's been speculated that a deal with Kohl's - that includes men's and women's apparel, and possibly home goods - could generate upwards of $3 billion. For now, stay tuned; the couple will be announcing details of the deal later today with a press conference on the rooftop of the London Hotel in LA.

The celebrity designers niche continues to grow. We recently got word of a possible Leighton Meester clothing collection, and now there's a rumor about a Katy Perry footwear line. The pop singer is said to be in talks with shoe master Steve Madden, who's also been busy buying Betsey Johnson's label. No confirmations by either party as of yet, but if this collaboration were to come to fruition, would you be excited for a Katy Perry shoe collection? Glitter, jewels, leopard, red, retro flair - I can only imagine the snazzy possibilities.

Can it be? Is Leighton Meester going to join the celebrity designers gang? According to an interview with Vogue UK, it's a possibility: "The more I think about it the more it sounds like something I would want to do. I don't know if it'd be any time soon but I'd really like to work on a collaboration with somebody - I always have ideas for stuff like that." And who might she draw inspiration from? "I really like Cate Blanchett, she's got a really interesting take on things . . . she experiments but is very much a woman. I think Helen Mirren is very sexy and of course I love Audrey Hepburn."
