Sneak Peek! Celia Birtwell for Express
There are so many high-low designer collaborations these days, I can hardly keep track of them all. But girl am I glad I didn't let the Celia Birtwell for Express one slip through the cracks. Her '60s-inspired prints are just what I need right now.
On Our Radar: Express Begins a Designer Collaboration
Target does it, so does H&M. Now, Express is throwing their hat into the guest designer ring by collaborating with British textile designer Celia Birtwell, who also works with Topshop.
Birtwell is bringing her bohemian aesthetic to Express with four mini-collections, the first of which debuts on April 7 and includes two chiffon blouses in six different prints ($80) and one silk dress (left) in two different prints ($128).
Look of the Day: Tip Top from Topshop
Lauren89 looks like she's on top of the world (or at least on top of the playground) in this tip top from Topshop ensemble - too bad she ripped her dress minutes later while sliding down a slide! I love the pairing of the bright dress with the dark cardigan and tights - it really makes the dress pop. And the slip underneath the dress adds a little femininity to the severity of the black!
