Jimmy Choo Designs For Elton John

Jimmy Choo is fashionably supporting Elton John's AIDS Foundation by creating a limited-edition accessories collection dubbed Project PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis). It will include handbags, shoes, and small leather goods decorated with a new signature laminated canvas print showing off iconic Jimmy Choo details like snakeskin, leather, and even a picture of Tamara Mellon from a Vogue Italia photo shoot.

"It's a whole collage of the DNA of Jimmy Choo," said Mellon. The collection drops November with prices ranging from $95 for flip flops to $995 for a large handbag. Twenty-five percent of all proceeds will support the Simelela rape center in South Africa.

Simply Fab: Designers Dress Christmas Trees For Charity

Clothes might be their forte, but that won't stop fashion designers from trying their hands at designing Christmas trees for charity. The results - as you see from Louis Vuitton's golden delight below - were fabulous. The Christmas trees, which included designs from Zaha Hadid, Louis Vuitton, Miguel Adrover, and Jean Paul Gaultier, went up for auction at Paris's architecture museum last week. These aren't your average run-of-the-mill holiday trees. The designers went all out for their charity contribution and created magnificent marvels. It was well worth the effort; Zaha Hadid’s tree structure reportedly sold for over $61,000!

You gotta love a supermodel with a heart. Kate Moss has just added a special charity tee to her collection for Topshop. The top will be designed by Moss herself, with proceeds benefiting the Starlight Children's Foundation, which specializes in helping seriously ill children and their families.

Moss's goal is to raise £75,000 for the organization in order to grant an additional wish for a sick or terminally ill child every week for a year.

On Our Radar: Chopard and Alberta Ferretti Team Up For Charity Gown

Chopard co-president Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, and Alberta Ferretti have teamed up to show their support for the amfAR (The Foundation for Aids Research). The duo are set to design a jewel-encrusted gown to be worn by a yet-to-be named celebrity at the amfAR gala in Cannes, France, on May 22. The sketch (pictured left) already looks amazing and we can't wait to see who wears the real thing!

Train a midwife for $25, Educate with style for $40, or Prevent HIV for $62. For that person who has everything, make them a personalized greeting card announcing each gift you donated in his or her name. Changing the world is no easy feat but this is a good place to start.

Fab Flash: Naomi Campbell Spearheads Fashion for Relief

Looks like Naomi Campbell is going to reverse her bad reputation in the press by doing good. The supermodel is planning a fashion show in London at the finale of London Fashion Week to raise money for the victim's of this year's UK floods. "As a British model, in my home town in London, I am honored to be able to put on and be involved in this kind of show," she said.

Naomi isn't going at this alone, though. She has asked fellow models Elle Macpherson, Jodie Kidd and Yasmin Le Bon to help out (all sported the Burberry T-shirt that will be sold to raise money for the cause at the London press conference). The latest word is that Kate Moss will also be a part of the project by designing some of the clothes on the runway.

Now that London Fashion Week is open to the public, perhaps you'll be able to see Naomi's production in person!

L'Occitane's Blind Ambition

Lots of companies create products to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month, including skincare brand L’Occitane en Provence, which is donating 15 percent of sales from its Limited Edition Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream, available here for $36, to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. But the earthy French cosmetics company also has another pet cause: helping the blind.

Startlingly, nearly every single one of L'Occitane's products comes complete with Braille labeling, to make shopping more accessible for customers without the sense of sight. Occasionally, it also releases special-edition products and donates the proceeds to blind charities. Most notably, it even runs its own summer perfume school for blind teenagers at the company's headquarters in Provence, to help the students hone their senses of smell.

I don't know about you, but I'm far more inclined to support companies when I know they are contributing to a good cause. If you've never tried L'Occitane's products, you're missing a luxurious and sweet-smelling experience. Here are some of my picks from L'Occitane products.

OMG I so want one of these! And I have a suspicion lots of you will too...To celebrate Cartier's second annual "LoveDay," the luxury goods company will announce its newest celebrity ambassadors for the Cartier "LoveCharity" bracelets. Last year, Cartier donated more than $1.2 million to eight global charities from the sales of the Love bracelet, and due to the enormous success, this year Cartier will celebrate with a new bracelet. Without further ado, here are the candy colored charity bracelets:

The new bracelet features an 18K white gold miniature bracelet graced with the word "Love" and accented with two signature screw motifs. It is set into a knotted silk cord available in various colors, with each cord designating support of a unique cause. The bracelet is $475 with $100 per bracelet benefiting its corresponding charity. Come June 8th, 10% of all sales from the collection will benefit the partnered organizations.

My faves are the blue bracelet, benefiting Sarah Jessica Parker for UNICEF, and the lavender bracelet, benefiting Julianne Moore for the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance - two of my favorite gals and two wonderful charities! Now here's a jewelry purchase you can justify!
