The Hollywood Awards Gala, the first event of award season, summoned a star-studded cast in LA last night. Charlize Theron, Zooey Deschanel, Diane Kruger, Julianne Moore, and Kate Beckinsale all livened up the red carpet with their chic ensembles. Charlize and Kate opted for slimming black, Diane looked angelic in white, and Zooey and Julianne coated themselves in color. Take a good look and decide who's most Fab.

Glamazon Charlize was in San Francisco last night for the ONEXONE Foundation Gala. I missed her, but Pop talked charity with her - stayed tuned for that on Pop! She wore a perfectly appropriate philanthropic 'fit. Her printed Thakoon dress is made more serious with a black blazer with white cuffs and black tights. A Dior clutch and patent pumps polish her off. Hope you enjoyed your SF stopover, Charlize.

Well, Jenna Elfman sported the same exact frock last night at the TCA party in Pasadena, but notice how the two styled their Lanvin creation very differently. Jenna opted for a more casual appeal, accessorizing with chandelier earrings and simple black sandals. Charlize chose to dramatize her dress with a black belt, sky-high platform pumps, patent clutch, and sleek 'do. Which blonde worked it better?

Rag & Bone's shiny silver blazer instantly caught my eye, so it's not shocking that it also appealed to both Charlize Theron and Molly Sims. Charlize first wore the bold blazer at the 2008 Fashion Rocks event, along with black leather leggings and a whopping statement necklace. Molly just wore the same shiny blazer to a NYC screening of The Hangover. Her version includes cropped black pants, Michael Kors zip sandals, and a long necklace. Both ladies shine, literally, but who steals the spotlight?

To say Charlize Theron brought major shine to the Parisian premiere of her latest movie - The Burning Plain - would be an understatement. If her Lanvin pre-Fall gold lamé dress is this shiny in photographs, I wonder how blinding it is in person! I have to say, it's a hard one to pull off, but nothing stands in Charlize's way. The knot detail adds dimension while her Christian Dior pumps lift her up. The Roger Vivier clutch also matches seamlessly. On the runway, the dress was paired with a chunky necklace, but Charlize let it shine for itself. Are you feeling this or is it too loud?
