I'm all about taking precautionary measures during flu season. Besides getting my annual flu shot, I always make sure to bundle up and stay warm. Last night, while I was busy watching Project Runway, celebs like Mischa Barton, Zoe Kravitz, and Sophia Bush were partying at the Chelsea Piers in NYC. The occasion? Celebrating Charlotte Ronson's I Heart Ronson line for JC Penney. PR was exciting, but this is one party I would have skipped watching it for. It had fun written all over it. Girly clothes were displayed, the music was blasting, and the food was aplenty.

Charlotte Ronson isn't the only one with a designing bone in her family. Her siblings, Samantha and Mark Ronson, will also be testing out their fashion skills with two separate footwear endeavors. Lindsay's lovah created black and gold high-top sneakers for Supra's Indy silhouette - check her out sporting her rad genesis. Mark took it to the next level and teamed up with Gucci to design a mini collection of men's shoes, priced between $500 to $600, called Gucci Ronson. Samatha's sneakers costs $148 and is available at Factory413.com. Mark's limited-edition SKUs will be available exclusively at Gucci's Icon-Temporary pop-up stores in the Fall. No doubt, this family has talent!

Charlotte Ronson Goes Higher End

Charlotte Ronson is injecting her business with higher-end pieces. Leather jackets, fake fur vests, plaid belted dresses, and knit cardigans with leather trim will be fused with her signature collection. The good news is that price tags won't be drastically affected. "We are stepping it up more than ever, but also working to keep the prices down," Ronson said. The goal is to show a clear difference between her more sophisticated Charlotte Ronson line and her casual I Heart Ronson collection exclusively sold at JCPenney. In addition, there is a new black-and-white logo, which showcases her CR initials in a heart formation.

The ad above, featuring Ronson's younger sister Annabelle Jones and Donald Cumming, is another way of helping boost the new collection.
