Glitterati: Citrine by the Stones

My recent infatuation with rough stones led me to designers Mary, Michelle, and Joanne Stone and their jewelry line, dubbed Citrine by the Stones. Like the name, the mother-and-daughters threesome are all about creating beautiful adornments made out of natural stones and precious metals. I love how each handmade piece looks unique - the Stones utilize a hand-etched and hand-hammered technique - and are one-of-a-kind. The line, ranging from $70 to $250, is not too pricey and will go perfect with my favorite Spring trend, Luxotica. I can see myself rocking these two pieces with light denim jeans and a flirty floral blouse for maximum Bollywood appeal.

Citrine by Stones Willow Necklace: Love It or Hate It?

I love accentuating a simple look with an interesting necklace every now and then, but I would never consider sporting this Citrine by the Stones Willow Necklace, $205. It's just too abstract for my taste. The triple links look like an arts 'n crafts project done by grade-schoolers. Would you wear it?

Happy Birthday to the Fierce Christian Siriano!

On Tuesday night, Project Runway Season Four winner Christian Siriano celebrated his 23rd birthday. But he didn't have to plan anything; it was a surprise! The place was Citrine in New York City. The fabulous guest list included Leigh Lezark, who was also the night's DJ, actress Leven Rambin, and American's Next Top Model alum Kim Stolz. An interesting mix, right? That about sums up the adorably charismatic Christian. From the looks of it, the birthday boy had a blast and then some. Posing with his birthday cupcakes, clapping, kissing his guests - yeah, that sounds like Christian. Welcome to the party.
