You must have noticed the tweed rage these days. Everyone is wearing it in some form. I loved Olivia Palermo's tweed H&M shorts so much, I got the matching jacket recently. While most tweed jackets are cropped, this Vintage Gray Stone Tweed Coat, size small, is equally chic. It looks good open and closed, and the black piping and big buttons are super cute. Especially if you live in cold climate, I suggest bundling up with this tweed-tastic piece.

Look Book Love: Zara, September '09

I've come to the conclusion that I'm a Zara girl. As of late, I can't get enough of its sophisticated and fairly affordable options. In fact, the Spanish retailer just announced it will start selling its collection online in the UK and other European countries - lucky! Sigh, for now, let's lust after its September '09 look book. Everything we need for Fall was on display: cozy sweaters, tailored military coats, faux fur, lace, lush leopard prints, and a to-die-for collection of boots. Zara's eye for detail leaves me swooning for every piece - this sleek wool cape is at the top of my list. What's on yours?

Style Glossary: Mackintosh

Mackintosh

Not to be confused with a Macintosh computer, a Mackintosh is a form of waterproof raincoat, first sold in 1824, made out of rubberized fabric. It is named after its Scottish inventor Charles Macintosh, though a letter k is commonly added. In the present day, the Mackintosh style of coat has become generic, but a genuine Mackintosh coat should be made from rubberized or rubber laminated material.
