The retailer that sells this BCBG Open Back Cocktail Dress ($298) describes it as sexy, and that certainly isn't a lie. Observe — it has an open back, open sides, and a keyhole in the middle. The color is gorgeous and the draping lavish, but I would have liked it more if the sides were covered.

Shoeaholic took a page out of the Dreamgirls costume book with her limelight-catching shimmery cocktail number. I love how the classic cut of the dress flatters her body, and the black fabric tones down the sequins so the look is totally glamorous. The silver and black shine of the shoes ties in well with the dress too!

Eva's wink may not be up to par, but the slick tuxedo-inspired look she wore to the 2010 Pirelli Calendar cocktail reception in London was beyond Fab. She dressed up her slight harem pants with delicate sandals, a draped white top, and a velvet blazer.
