New Kindle Gets All Labeled Up With Designer Cases

I went wild over the Diane von Furstenberg Kindle 2 cases that came out earlier this year, and now owners of the latest-edition Kindle can get their own designer cases from the fashion house, along with a few other well-known labels. DVF is back and brought friends like Cole Haan, Timbuk2, Belkin, BUILT, and LeSportsac to the Kindle case game. My favorites are the DVF (obviously) and Cole Haan cases, which are on the more expensive side, but good news - they are cheaper than the older-generation editions.

I can't get enough of DVF's fabric Garden Animal ($85) and Ikat Berry ($85) cases, while Cole Haan's hand-stained leather Green Floral Print ($99), Woven Leather ($119), and Pebble Grain Leather ($99) cases exude class and sophistication. I'm definitely picking up one of these babies if I happen to upgrade to a new Kindle. What about you?

The Cole Haan Kids collection (ranging from $35 to $79) will include classic styles such as the quilted, metallic Mary Jane shown here and a pebbled leather loafer, for boys, girls, and "pre-walkers." Back-to-School Shoes Made For Walking

Every year the week before school started, my mother bought me a new pair of shoes. Because I love shoes, I've kept up the tradition all these years after graduation. My life involves a lot of walking, so as lovely as they look, high heels are not a staple for me. I have rounded up some comfy yet cute shoes to help you keep on the move in your daily life. Save the heels for evening!

I have been a fan of Dansko for years. Easy to kick off when I needed to demonstrate a Pilates exercise and perfect for standing at the counter prepping dinner, clogs have been my mainstay. But Dansko has expanded its footwear line to include boots, both knee and ankle heights, and flats. I'm liking the looks of these Penelope boots ($220). The low heel is a wedge for even more foot support.

Photographer Todd Selby was asked by Cole Haan to cast, photograph, and interview a group of people who he found inspiring for the brand's Spring Summer 2010 campaign. He selected store owners, gallery directors, athletes, DJs, musicians, and photographers, and photographed many of them in their homes. Naturally, they all had stylish digs. My favorite of all those featured was this bedroom belonging to a Russian lady whose success arguably has as much to do with her athletic prowess as her beauty. Can you guess who she is?
