Taylor donned avant-garde ensembles, darkened her eyebrows, and turned cover girl for Crash magazine's October issue. Responsibility

If one roommate finds the place, is that the person who will be on the lease? If you all sign the lease, then you are “jointly and severally liable,” which is a fancy legal way of saying that you’re all on the hook for the total rent, not just your share. Does the roommate who found the place (or the person with the financial responsibility) take the largest bedroom? Will you split the rent according to room size?

Suze Orman Debunks Money Myths

Before the recession, we were living in a happy bubble, in which real estate prices kept on rising (or so we thought), and Wall Streeters lived like fat cats. Then everything came crashing down - the economic bubble burst, the housing market collapsed, and the big bankers landed on their feet. The truth is, America isn't the same anymore. We have a national debt of over $14 trillion and what once were solid pillars of our nation, like education and social security, are being sacrificed for budget cuts. Yes, we are slowly recovering, but we're living in a different time now. Suze Orman addresses these changes in an interview with Time magazine.

No More American Dream. According to Suze, the American dream was the idea of "bigger, better, newer," and a mentality of "how do you buy stuff without any money?" Credit cards were as easily accessible as candy, and consumer debt kept piling up. But now, Suze says "the old American dream really is dead," because it's incredibly hard to get a loan, mortgage, credit, and jobs. Reality isn't pretty, but it's something everyone faces.

Money Dictates Your Education. You can't go to the best school you get into and worry about paying it off later, says Suze. That's because you don't have the stability of a job offer anymore so if you don't get a paying job after college, you can't afford to pay off your loan. The personal finance expert advises to pick a school based on a loan that you know you can afford to pay off. And yes, this might mean no four year college for you.

Nix Loans to Family. A loan to your family is "either a gift, or it's not," says Suze. That's because your loan will be your family member's lowest priority among other financial obligations like credit card debt, student loans, 401k payments, and more.

Interest in Princess Diana Resurges

Princess Diana would have turned 50 on July 1, and although she died tragically 14 years ago, interest in the people's princess has not faded. In fact, it seems to be gaining.

Fascination with the royals has picked up steam since the April wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, and some of Diana's former confidants have used the regained popularity as a chance to offer their private mementos to the public for sale. An old teacher friend put Diana's personal letters up for auction, and the dress Diana wore while dancing with John Travolta at a US state dinner sold last week for nearly $1 million.

There has also been a darker response on the eve of her birthday. On its latest cover, Newsweek aged Princess Diana using Photoshop and made it appear as if she was walking next to her doting daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton. Inside the magazine readers can find a mocked-up version of her would-be Facebook page. Most of our readers found the concept unsettling.

And while some ponder what her life would have been, others are focusing on her death, specifically the filmmaker behind a new documentary, Unlawful Killing, which criticizes the royal family and alleges that there was a cover-up following her death. The movie, financed by the family of Diana's boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed, is directed by Keith Allen, the dad of singer Lily Allen, and it alleges that a UK jury found that the Paris car crash was not an accident. The controversial doc, banned in the UK but shown at Cannes, is gaining distribution deals.

Considering intrigue surrounding other icons who met a tragic fate - like Marilyn Monroe or the Kennedys - has transcended generations, I doubt the public will lose interest in Diana any time soon.

Beauty Byte: Gwen Stefani Creates A Perfume

On Monday afternoon, Gwen Stefani detached herself from Kingston for a short time to unveil her very first fragrance called L (the L stands for love). She and Coty Prestige collaborated to create this scent, and together, they had a launch party at the Soho House in NYC where two Olympian swimmers performed water ballet.

The perfume is made from water hyacinth, white freesia, pear leaves, violet leaves, jasmine petals, rose, lily of the valley, sweet pea, orange blossom, frangipani blossom, peach skin, heliotrope flower and musk.

It will be available at Nordstrom in July and in other retail doors in September in two sizes: 1.7 oz for $55 and 3.4 oz for $70. There will also be a body lotion for $32, a shower gel for $30, and a solid perfume for $42.

The focal point of the bottle is a large gold cap of interlocking Ls, which pulls off to reveal an aqua interior. The underbelly of the cap has Rastafarian colors, red, yellow and green and the perfume has an aqua actuator.

The packaging of the box is a cheetah print cartoon with a black stripe and a stylized L. The inside of the box contains the tag line from the fragrance: "I want you all over me." This is a lyric from her song, "Crash."

It is said that she is working on five fragrances, but L will be the classic scent.

Apparently the TV shoot was quite chilly, which took place in a cold swimming pool from 9:00am to 7:00pm and made the taping a bit difficult. The print ads were shot in Ibiza and will begin running in magazines in September. According to Gwen,

"It's sort of amazing to go from selling fragrances (that's what she did before she became a musician) to having one of my own. I certainly never expected it when I was selling Borghese and Ultima II at the Broadway! I wanted this fragrance to be light, fresh and clean. I want people to say, 'I want to smell like that.' I'm kind of embarrassed by how much I enjoyed creating this fragrance. It's another way to say who I am. I love this one so much I'm not sure what I'm going to come up with for the next one."
