For those who don't know, Cusp is where I interviewed Nicole Richie last year. Ah, good times. The Neiman Marcus-owned store is currently holding an online sale with designer items up to 40 percent off.

Neiman Marcus-owned Cusp opened its first few boutiques last year to attract younger shoppers. In fact, my Nicole Richie interview was held at the LA boutique. With Cusp.com, girls who don't have a store near them can shop online any time.

Neimans has been searching for a way to attract shoppers in their 20s and 30s without alienating their core clients in their 50s - and they think Cusp stores are their answer. Cusp boutiques have already been opened in L.A., D.C., and McLean, VA - one more comes to Chicago in August. The Cusp stores offer short dresses, designer jeans, T-shirts, and other casual clothes, all with lower prices than you would see on a shopping trip to Neimans.
