Opulent, silky prints ruled D&G's final runway show - and if you've ever wondered how to wear a scarf more than 10 different ways, this is it. For Spring 2012, Dolce & Gabbana's younger line showed us endless ways to adorn ourselves in silky, luxe prints - halter-tied flowing dresses, mini shorts, tunics, button-downs, wrap skirts, and even silk scarf-wrapped platforms and bags. Hardly any solids appeared at all - save for a denim-on-denim suit and a white button-down adding stark contrast to a pair of tailored silky, turquoise trousers and printed miniskirt. Whimsical and luxurious, we probably wouldn't feel right if we weren't wearing these pieces on a yacht somewhere off the Amalfi Coast.

Trends: Prints, denim, scarves.
Colors: Pink, green, blue, orange, multihued prints, polka dots.
Key Look: The silky, mixed prints looked amazing, but we're particularly obsessed with the silky print tunic over the floral print silk shorts.
Accessories: Scarf-wrapped platforms, major gold coin drop earrings and necklaces, small printed box clutches, larger, fringe-adorned printed clutches, and straw-trimmed floppy hats.
Who Would Wear It: Glamorous vacationers and die-hard D&G fans.

Today's D&G fashion show at Milan Fashion Week will be the last as Dolce & Gabbana just announced that it will close its D&G line to focus on its main collection. WWD reports that the designers said the move would give "even more strength and energy to our collections." Apparently, the decision to close the younger line could potentially lead to expansion to the main Dolce & Gabbana brand. For Fall 2011, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana took us back to the mid-'80s with their totally fun D&G collection. Models were turned out in dresses and separates with alphabet prints all festively accessorized with colorful charm necklaces and high-heel, Converse-like sneakers paired with thick scrunchy socks. And while the first part of the runway show offered outfits in strictly black and white, the latter part quickly advanced to a neon spectrum that included thrilling hot-colored blazers. While many designers used calf-length hemlines to bring a tinge of ladylike to their designs, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana took the trend the totally opposite route. You won't find even a hint of prissiness in D&G's Fall collection. It's all about cool acid hues, loose and body-con fits, and a sporty chic undertone. This is not a collection for those who fear bright colors or loud prints. Sheer, leggings, menswear blazers, stripes, and massive layering - they all come together in a funky way that still manages to be highly fashiony.

Trends: Neon, stripes, sporty, sheer, calf-length hemlines.
Colors: Neon yellow, orange, hot pink, black.
Key Looks: Oversized neon blazer, print leggings, sporty sneaker heels, cool shades.
Accessories: Colorful letter necklaces, wristlets, sneaker heels, dark sunglasses.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's latest D&G collection is quintessentially Spring. It's everything you dream of for the playful season: florals, checkers, lace, ruffles, tiers, and more florals. Exaggerated, medium, and tiny floral prints come in a bouquet of hues like pink, yellow, purple, and blue. Everything from flirty frocks to shorts to baggy trousers and tunic tops all have a bad case of floral fever! But florals aren't the only highlight of this collection. The red and white checkered print is old-school and totally picnic ready. A few denim pieces also make a cameo, as do a couple of delicate lace styles. My favorite bit? The accessories! Silk bandannas, canvas bags, skinny tan belts, and floral sandals are too darling for words.
