Ashley Greene joined fellow celebs at the Tim Burton exhibition at MoMA - lucky! - looking quite fine in a D&G ensemble. Her outfit might look like a plain lace LBD at first glace, but look closer. The New Moon actress paired her decadent lace skirt with a shimmery sheer top and peekaboo bra. For extra spice, she accessorized with a cute ribbon belt and sophisticated pair of lace pumps. Striking.

Teen Vogue threw its annual bash in LA where Twilight hottie and October cover boy Taylor Lautner undoubtedly stole the spotlight. But many more hot young things turned out, too. Kelly Osbourne, Ashley Tisdale, Jessica Stroup, and AnnaLyne McCord, milked it for the cameras. Lindsay Price always looks fabulous. But at the NYC screening of He's Just Not That Into You I couldn't take my eyes off her mesmerizing white and gold necklace. Winter white always feels crisp, and white jewels pack a serious punch. Think about it; when everything else is gray and dingy, white brightens. White enamel is a cheap alternative to ceramic or glass, so feast!

Milan Fashion Week, Spring 2009: Domenico and Stefano Heart Katy Perry

Katy Perry is just cute as a button. Or, should I say, as a bottone? The men of Dolce & Gabbana not only had Katy sit front and center at their D&G Spring '09 runway show, but later, she wore a nautical sequined frock from the collection while performing at a D&G shindig. She also rubbed shoulders with Kelly Rowland at the runway show, and Cate Blanchett at the party. All signs point to new muse, new ad campaign star. I think it's a fun fit.

eLUXURY and Fab Play Dress Up: Posing in Posen

I have never had the opportunity to wear Zac Posen. I mean, it's an honor. I fell in love with this Zac Posen St. Denis Houndstooth Flute Dress the moment I laid eyes one it. And I was so excited to wear it to eLuxury's party my last night in New York. It's tailored perfection, frilly fun and Fab for just about any occasion.

All day long, the Derek Lam Lindsay Grande Bauletto Bag served to be the perfect Fashion Week bag; it was functional, sturdy and subtly designer - just the way I like it. The best part? No one had this bag. There's something to be said for wearing a non-it bag. I felt original, beautiful and New York-ready. Cheers!

Trend Alert: Bubble Trouble

Just when I thought someone magically popped the fashion bubble, we are back in bubble trouble. Designers and celebrities alike can't get enough of bubble hems. To be truthful, this is a look only a slim gal should attempt and heels lessen any negative bubbling of the body. Emma Roberts wore a dark and tailored Sass & Bide bubble dress, The Hills' Lo donned a colorful Ina Soltani bub, and Elizabeth Bank's Moschino bubbler was gray and subdued. I prefer the bubbles that have a tailored approach, at least it's a reinvention of the trend. Does anyone else wish this '80s trend would bubble over already?

Style For Style: Perfecting the Denim Mix

Mixing denim is a dangerous game; you either pull it off or you don't. The key to perfecting this tricky look is thinking outside the box and above all, making sure your denim items contrast one another. Time to kick that old image of a cowboy out of your head!

Pair ink dark jeans with a light denim jacket, and vice versa.
Make it look like you mismatched your denim on purpose, like at D&G Spring '08 (pictured).
Look to trousers, blazers, and sharp cuts that will translate your mixed denim ensemble as modern.
Don't forget to check out the plethora of fun colored jeans available, too. The possibilities are endless!

Good girl, bad girl. You have to admire a girl who can do a fashion double take. Though risky, Brittany took a chance in her black PVC mini, white tank and killer Jimmy Choo studded heels at the Teen Choice Awards Pre-Party. Works for me. D&G Dolce & Gabbana Plaid Shirtdress: Love It or Hate It?

At first glimpse, this D&G Dolce & Gabbana Plaid Shirtdress ($545) reminded me of something Paul Bunyan's wife would wear, but after a closer look, I think I kind of like it. The classic plaid is '90s grunge fabulous and the sleek silhouette lends a dressier feel to an otherwise casual textile. Do you agree or should it head back to the woods?

Fall Glimpse: Mad Plaider

Log cabins. Maple syrup. Grunge. My 21st birthday D&G dress. These are all a few of my favorite plaid things. While you probably already have a plaid item in your closet, or your boyfriend's closet, plaid has gone a bit mad for Fall. Consider an Edwardian jacket and pants a la McQueen, a tucked and pleated dress at Thakoon, mismatched and buttoned up at D&G. But my favorite is the slightly punky, paired with gray tights anime-looking Luella girl (left). She may look a bit mad, but whether it's tartan, glen, or buffalo, it's the shape of plaids to come.
