Diamonds are a girl's best friend so it was no surprise to see Hollywood starlets rush to the red carpet for the launch of the Cartier Love Charity Bracelet. Let's get things started with Rihanna who lit the Empire State building in honor of Cartier Love Day. The singer is dripping in a jewel encrusted tiara, two Lotus rings, diamond stud earrings, a diamond dome ring, and a silk bracelet - all Cartier and all fabulous. Who else flaunted their bling? Dazzling Diamonds, Part II: Nicole Kidman

The other diamonds that blew me away Sunday night were Nicole Kidman's. She wore 375 carat rough diamond cuffs designed by L'Wren Scott, Nicole's stylist and now clothing and jewelry designer. Each of the cuffs contained 187 diamonds and represent a unique and fresh direction in diamond jewelry. You will notice the unusual 'arrowhead' shaped diamonds that are known as maccles. These stones are rough uncut diamonds from the Diamond Trading Company being shown in their natural state; these stones are typically found in diamond mines in Botswana, Russia and South Africa.

Not only was Cate's gunmetal Armani Prive gown exquisite, I could not take my eyes off of her unique, moody jewelry. Cate wore diamonds by Lorraine Schwartz. Her earrings were blackened platinum diamond earrings with black pearshape diamond drops and were $75,000. Her bad ass cuff was a platinum and rosecut diamond black and green jade bracelet worth $200,000. Holy sh*@t! Well, they did add that extra sparkle...

Ryan Lochte Goes For the Gold: Get to Know the Lochtenator

Michael who? OK, we haven't forgotten Phelps yet, but there's a new kid in town who's dazzling us with his ripped body and gold medals. Ryan Lochte aka "The Lochtenator" is looking mighty fine on the Team USA cover of Vogue in his swimwear, alongside soccer's Hope Solo and tennis star Serena Williams.

"New" may be a misnomer, as the 27-year-old American swimmer is already a six-time Olympic medalist and has carried both World Swimmer of the Year and American Swimmer of the Year titles. Ryan is known to sport a diamond-encrusted grill, and besides a thing for sparkly teeth some other fun facts about the hottie include that his mother is Cuban, he majored in sports management in college, and he has a tattoo of the Olympic rings on the inside of his right bicep. We saw opulently dark hues, flashes of bold oranges and yellows, and now, we've got Jessica Chastain's shimmery blue Louis Vuitton number to add to our Met Gala color spectrum. Her corset-style, full-skirted dress was encrusted with jewel-lined embellishments, giving the metallic satin an even more dazzling sheen effect. The actress complemented her statement gown with soft side-swept waves, a dark red lip, and understated Harry Winston sapphire-and-diamond earrings. What do you think of her cool blue look?
