I love how her shrunken black blazer, layered over a matching cardi, gives a polished touch while strappy gold flats, a turquoise Alexis Bittar ring, and an oversize tote lend a bohemian feel. Ok, ok, it is Fall. It's getting light earlier and the mornings are crisp. I have surrendered. The upside of Summer being over is rediscovering your old cozy clothes and, of course, buying new ones - lots more on that to come. I just can't say enough about one of this season's most must-have styles, flat boots. I particularly love the photo spread from the upcoming issue of Life & Style, showing all of the different ways that fashionable celebs are sporting this trend. Lindsay Lohan hits all the marks for a casual urban look, while Hilary Swank goes for a swinging '60s vibe. I love how Hilary pairs the girly black-and-white coat with opaque tights and tall, flat black boots, making her outerwear into an outfit in itself.
