I remember Versus from the '90s being Versace's youthful, rebellious younger line. The ads were cool; remember the twin series? While other companies are downsizing, Versace is reviving. Versus is making a comeback. At Milan Fashion Week this week, the Versace group is releasing a relaunch package. First up: An accessories line designed by Scottish boy genius Christopher Kane.

Handbags, shoes and steel jewelry, have a hard-edged, glam vibe. Black, white, and silver make up a renegade collection not for the faint of heart. Donatella spoke of her choice of Kane confidentially, "Christopher is a highly creative young designer and his work impressed me from the very beginning. His rock n roll style is very powerful, glamorous and sensual - perfectly in tune with the mood of Versus - which was always intended for young people who want clothes that project a personal style that is constantly evolving."

Fab Flash: Donatella Versace, Philanthropist

Besides being one of the biggest fashion designers in the world, Donatella Versace is also a philanthropist. After seeing the damage caused by the Sichuan earthquake, the designer decided to take matters into her own hands. In a recent visit to the city of Sanjiang, Versace saw the travesty that killed over 70,000 people back in May. “When you see things on television, you don’t know if it’s true,” said Versace. “I wanted to see it with my eyes and touch it myself.”

Upon arrival, Versace was treated to dancing and a fashion show held in the temporary schoolyard. The school, which is funded by Versace, provides education and trauma counseling for the children and their families. “It’s easy to write a check, but we wanted to do something where we involved our people, our resources, and ourselves in the first person,” said Versace chief executive, Di Risio. Versace, in collaboration with Jet Li's One Foundation, will be hosting a show and benefit auction in Beijing this week to raise money for the Sichuan earthquake relief fund. Versace and the One Foundation is hoping to raise 8 million yuan ($1.17 million) to open more school centers. Isn't is refreshing to see fashion people give back?

It's one thing to battle it out with other gorgeous women in one of the sexiest designers of today. It's another to battle it out with the woman who designed said sexy clothes. Leave it to vixen Christina Ricci to wear an embellished body-hugging atelier Versace to the Whitney Museum American Art Gala. However, Donatella herself wore a slippery, shiny floor-grazing gown - also nice and tight. As well, these dresses are sultry neutrals. Who rules her Versace here?

Which Versace Gown Was Your Favorite on the America's Next Top Model Finale?

I don't want to give too much away, but I was quite surprised by the judges' decision on America's Next Top Model finale show. If you want to know the winner, refer to BuzzSugar. Here, let's focus on what's most important: the Versace gowns Donatella handpicked for the runway show. They were all beauties and I have to say, Anya and Whitney wore them better than well. But is it me or did Whitney get the more eye-catching dresses? Still, Anya dazzled in her metallic number, as did Whitney in her pink. Both frocks matched the girls' modeling personalities, but out of the four, which Versace gown was your favorite?

Fab Flash: Celebrities Talk Superheros at the Met's Costume Institute Gala

As expected, there was some superhero talk floating about at last night's Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala. Playing into the theme of the exhibition, "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy," celebs had fun talking about which superhero power they admired the most. Christina Ricci wished she had the power to read minds while others wished for flying and invisibility.

Staying true to their style, Karl Lagerfeld and Donatella Versace replied with, "Myself," when asked which superheros they envied and Marc Jacobs topped the night off by sporting a pair of Superman undies to the event - how fitting. Me? I would like to have the power to shop to my heart's desire.

Fab Flash: Katie Holmes and More Costume Institute Gala Attendees Revealed!

We already learned that Fergie and Liv Tyler are attending as guests of Calvin Klein, and Tilda Swinton is accompanying Prada, but as the Costume Institute gala fast approaches on May 5, more details have leaked.

Giorgio Armani is said to be dressing Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, and Katie Holmes, but it doesn't stop there. Rumor has it that Jennifer Lopez is coming with Alberta Ferretti, Kate Bosworth with Chanel, and Eva Mendes and Rachel Bilson are also attending with Calvin Klein.

They haven't been connected to specific designers yet, but other expected attendees include Renée Zellweger, Scarlett Johansson, Kate Moss, Mary J. Blige, Claire Danes, Mischa Barton, LeBron James, as well as designers Valentino, Tom Ford, Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana, and Donatella Versace.

Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is quite the fashion maven these days. Not only is she wearing Versace at the Versace Menswear launch at Barneys, she's hanging out with the Donatella. Fab Flash: A McDreamy Versace

Donatella Versace has tapped Patrick Dempsey as the new Versace man - for an unprecedented two years. Dempsey, who was photographed for the line by Mario Testino late last month, will first appear in the house's Spring men's ad campaign starting in February.

Donatella said of her choice: "Patrick represents everything that is great about this collection; he has that confidence, completely comfortable in his own skin, that is so attractive. He is the modern man of today and of course looks fantastic in the clothes." Yes!

On Our Radar: Designer Documentaries in the Works

Tom Ford and Donatella Versace are both currently in talks to develop documentaries about their fabulous designer lives.

Dominique Miceli is responsible for orchestrating the new movies from idea to silver screen; she has previously worked with Marc Jacobs on the recent documentary Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton, which followed him for a year at Louis Vuitton. She hopes to apply the same ideas to Ford and Versace: "I spoke to their assistants and they said they want to do it, so we'll see." Sweet!
