We last heard about Doo-Ri Chung's budget-friendly line back in December. Seven months later, Under.Ligne has come to fruition. The current collection has nine pieces — fancy tees, leggings, and draped dresses — ranging from $150 to $495.

No longer will we have to admire Doo-Ri's delicate creations from afar. Following in the footsteps of Zac Posen, Doo-Ri Chung has announced a diffusion line slated to launch next year.
“I have been thinking about this for a really long time,” said Chung.

Doo-Ri Chung has learned the right pair of tights can instantly transform an outfit. After receiving high accolades for the leggings shown in her Fall collection, seen left, Doo-Ri has decided to launch a hosiery line.
“I would love to use studs or bring something in that could be smooth on the surface,” said Chung.

Last night, Style.com hosted the book launch party for its new book Stylist, The Interpreters of Fashion at Skylight in New York. A few of the 16 stylists highlighted in the book made appearances, including W fashion editor Camilla Nickerson, Vogue creative director Grace Coddington, Elle creative director Joe Zee, and Allure creative director Paul Cavaco. Vogue editor Anna Wintour and a gaggle of designers were also there to mingle and show their support, including the L.A.M.B.

While at first it can look like the pieces on this Doo.Ri for Atelier Swarovski Sakura Bangle Bracelet ($445) are about to fall off, upon closer inspection, it has a cool effect. Among a sea of shiny bangles, this one stands out and looks highly thought out. What do you think about it?

Whether this designer wins FabSugar Designer of the Year or not, 2006 was definitely a plentiful year for Doo.Ri. This new designer won both the Perry Ellis Award for emerging talent in womenswear and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in the past year and based on your response to her Spring '07 collection she may have a third win coming her way.
Doo.Ri has a rags-to-riches story.

If you haven't yet heard of Doo-Ri, familiarize yourself now: The line, created by designer Doo-Ri Chung, was this year's winner of Swarovski's coveted Perry Ellis award, bestowed upon the best emerging designer at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards. Doo-Ri's clothes are renowned for their easy fit and ability to cascade down the body, and the Spring 2007 collection at New York Fashion Week was no exception.
The Grecian-inspired styles relied heavily on off-white and gold tones, with most every item featuring one intricate accent as its centerpiece.

In past seasons, Doo-Ri Chung's beautifully draped collections have been made primarily out of jersey. This time out, however, she moved away from her comfort zone, collaborated with Swarovski, and used silk. The result was no less breathtaking.

Fur is one, if not the most controversial subject in fashion. And I've got news for you: It's not going anywhere.
According to WWD, not only is the newest crop of designers supporting fur, but many are also trying to get licensing deals so they can have field days with it.

Designer Doori Chung has teamed up with jewelry line BYLU to create some unique pieces and they are currently sold at Fragments. One such piece is this 24 karat gold vermeil ring with amethyst stones, $120. How gorgeous would it be on the pointer finger?
