How to Get This Season's Sexiest Waves

Sexy hair traditionally means lots of volume, big waves, and a flirty side part. But this Spring, there's a new cool-girl alternative: a tough middle part with easy, loose waves. The combo looks naturally seductive - and not just because beauties like Doutzen Kroes (above), Brooklyn Decker, and DJ Harley Viera-Newton have been wearing the style. The look has an unpretentious, uncalculated feel that makes it so appealing. (It's also more grown-up than last season's omnipresent beachy waves.)

To re-create them: Start by combing a volumizer, such as Shu Uemura Art of Hair Fiber Lift Protective Volumizer, through damp hair. (Just because you're not going for full-on glam volume doesn't mean your hair should be totally flat). Define a center part, and then tousle your hair as you blow-dry, aiming the nozzle downward to prevent frizz. Now it's time to add in the waves: Wrap small sections of hair around a large-barrel curling iron, beginning just above the ends and working up to the chin. Finally, run your fingers through the waves to break them up. If they still look a little too defined, you can take a paddle brush to them. Just go over each section once, and then break them up with your fingers again when you're done. Voilà!

Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling teamed up last night at the Cinema Society and Men's Health screening of The Lucky One in NYC. Zac is the magazine's latest cover star, and though the publication is geared toward guys, he had the support of plenty of women yesterday. His leading ladies Taylor and Blythe Danner shared the spotlight with him, while Nicky Hilton and model Doutzen Kroes likewise stopped by to see the film. One of the most important women in Zac's life - his mother, Starla - has also had a chance to watch the movie. Last night, Zac said he felt awkward during the love scenes when Starla joined him for a recent screening. Zac admitted that he even tried to sneak out of the theater during the hot-and-heavy moments.

Bikini-Clad Doutzen Kroes Has More Fun Under the Sun

Doutzen Kroes was back in a strapless pink bikini yesterday for some additional beach time with her son Phyllon James. Doutzen and Phyllon splashed around in the surf off Miami Beach while her husband, DJ Sunnery James, prepped for a scheduled gig at Miami's LIV late last night.

Sunnery's participating in the three-day Ultra Music Festival which kicked off on Friday and wraps up later today. Paris Hilton's rumored boyfriend Afrojack was also among the musicians that flew in for the event. Paris and Nicky were spotted dancing and partying at a pool party late last week, while Afrojack entertained the crowd with hot new mixes. Doutzen and Sunnery's Spring break getaway is winding down, and she's already prepping for a return to work in front of the camera.

Doutzen Kroes threw on a pair of tiny white shorts and a bikini top to go out in Miami with a friend yesterday. The model was spotted in a hot pink bikini on the beach earlier in the day with her family. Doutzen, husband Sunnery James, and son Phyllon hung out in the sand before Sunnery headed to the National Hotel Pool to play a DJ set. In addition to support from his wife Doutzen, Paris and Nicky Hilton were on hand at the pool party, where Paris's rumored boyfriend, Afrojack, also played. Paris wore a bikini for the festivities and continued the fun that night at Nikki Beach.

Doutzen Kroes had a fun filled afternoon on the beach in Miami with her husband, Sunnery James, and their 1-year-old son Phyllon today. Doutzen was back in a bikini in Florida after donning a two-piece to shoot a Victoria's Secret commercial with director Michael Bay last month.

This time, Doutzen and her boys are in town while Sunnery, who is a DJ, plays multiple events. He and partner Ryan Marciano deejayed at the Ultra Music Festival yesterday and the duo have a pool party performance scheduled for this afternoon at the National Hotel Pool. Before Sunnery got in front of the crowd for work last night, he grabbed dinner with Doutzen at Nobu and it looks like he's taking advantage of more downtime on the beach with Doutzen and Phyllon today.

VS Angel Doutzen Kroes Strikes a Bikini-Clad Pose For Michael Bay's Cameras

Model Doutzen Kroes slipped into a bikini yesterday for a Victoria's Secret commercial shoot in Miami. She's in sunny Florida following a Fashion Week appearance in NYC. Doutzen teamed up with her fellow Angels Adriana Lima and Lindsay Ellingson for a pre-Valentine's Day meet-and-greet at the retailer's Manhattan flagship.

Doutzen is known for strutting her stuff on the catwalk or posing for VS print ads. However, yesterday she stepped in front of the lens for director Michael Bay. It appears Michael is taking a break from planning a fourth Transformers movie in order to film the Victoria's Secret models in their bikinis for a TV spot. This isn't the first collaboration between the lingerie giant and Michael. He's made a couple small screen ads for the brand, including a 2009 holiday commercial with model-turned-Transformers actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Miranda, Adriana, and Alessandra Give Us the Backstage Victoria's Secret Scoop!

The action began backstage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in NYC today! Hairstylist Orlando Pita and lead makeup artist Lauren Cosenza were in charge of transforming the models into Angels, and girls like Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima squeezed in interviews between primping sessions. Kanye West, who's performing during tonight's show, popped between the beauty stations to say hello to some of the ladies. He was introduced to Miranda Kerr, then gave rumored lady friend Chanel Iman a big hug. The press was running all over to talk to the models, but when Kanye arrived, things really hit the fan!

Miranda Kerr spoke with us about her husband Orlando Bloom, who's attending the show this evening, and what their family will do over the holidays. Adriana Lima shared a sweet anecdote about her daughter Valentina having a playdate with Alessandra Ambrosio's little one Anja, who apparently has some angel wings of her own already.

Alessandra on her daughter Anja's exposure to the show: "She came to the rehearsal - she's not allowed to come to the show yet! She was on the runway with me. She was just playing model, she was being an Angel . . . She didn't see the costumes, she only saw the wings. She saw the wings, and she was like, 'Mama! I have all these wings too at home! I have a butterfly, I have angel wings!' She has tons of wings, she was comparing our angel wings with hers."
Miranda on the trick to wearing Angel wings: "The wings are good! They're very heavy. You just do the best you can with the wings. Part of me is a little bit nervous because I don't want to be bopping down the catwalk. The aim is to glide down the catwalk. But when you have wings on you kind of bob a little bit."
Adriana on her daughter Valentina's playdate with Alessandra's daughter: "My baby, Valentina, actually I brought her yesterday for rehearsal. She did see my shoes, she fell in love with the wings. She walked on the runway. It was so cute. She had such a fun day yesterday. Alessandra's baby was here too, Anja, they were having a little playdate!"
Miranda on her and Orlando's holiday plans: "I think we'll probably be in Australia, so that will be nice. Because Orlando's filming The Hobbit down there."
