Angelina Jolie Makes a Big Impact With a Simple Dress

In Tokyo with Brad Pitt for the premiere of Moneyball, Angelina Jolie went for a high-impact basic: a little red dress from Atelier Versace. The spaghetti strap, body-hugging dress plays well to Angelina's style repertoire of simple, streamlined silhouettes, but instead of going with nude, gray, or black - a palette she tends to wear a lot for daytime - she chose bold, sexy red. She finishes it off with nude heels and her handsome, bespectacled partner Brad. This isn't the first time we've been sucked in by the allure of a red dress; just last week America Ferrera looked stunning in a red Nicole Miller dress.

It's a gray day in our New York office, but nothing cheers us up like hot berry-toned dresses! Camila Alves in Gomez-Gracia, Miranda Kerr in Michael Kors, and Kim Kardashian in Roland Mouret all looked stunning in their respective dresses. Camila went shorter but kept the sleeves long, letting the sexiness come from the bold hue and draping. Miranda wore her dress to the unveiling of the $2.5 million fantasy bra by Victoria's Secret, managing to somehow outshine the bra. Kim Kardashian's stretch dress is perfect to highlight her major curves and available to buy if you're craving the sophisticated look. Now we ask, who is your favorite?

Demi Moore has a fabulous figure, and she's been showing it off via long, slim sheath dresses that end below the knee. The trend started a few weeks ago, when she donned a cream Victoria Beckham shift dress for a red carpet event. Next was a geometric-print Chanel dress for the premiere of Lifetime's Five movie, and last night she wore a red Zac Posen dress for the premiere of Margin Call in New York. Each time, she sticks to long hair and understated makeup. The dress silhouette shows off her superbly fit figure, but the length is more conservative, especially when you consider some of her Hollywood peers' taste for minidresses.
