Faking Good Jeans: Beauty Launches from Denim Lines

Living in your jeans just got a little more literal. Diesel just celebrated the anniversary of Fuel For Life, and this month, Earnest Sewn launches Simple Serum (right, $45-65), an anti-aging skincare product that comes in only three iterations: face, body, and eye. The mini-line includes the active ingredients like Argiraline, a peptide made from natural proteins. For now, it's only available at Earnest Sewn stores, but that's likely to change.

On the opposite end of the simplicity spectrum, next month Rock & Republic is releasing a cosmetics line that was three years in the making and includes a compact bearing the company's logo in 445 Swarovski crystals. If you don't have an extra $225 lying around for this bling-ed out bronzer, there are over 100 other products to choose from, including primers, gel eyeliners, and natural hair makeup brushes. You'll be able to find them at Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. Get a first look below.

Trend Alert: Faded Jeans

Hear me out. Faded jeans may be reminiscent of the early '90s - a time when supermodels ruled the world - and is that such a bad thing? You may feel compelled to wear a pair with an off shoulder black v-neck sweater and Keds, and as a result look like early Cindy Crawford. Again, not so tragic in my book. But if you dig 'em and want to look modern, take a clue from Alexander Wang (pictured) who twinned the light denim with fun heels and silky textures. But hey, if you want to channel the supermodel heyday, be my guest.

So many of you loved Kate Hudson's wintry NYC outfit that we listened (always!) and re-created her look. I have to say, this girl knows how to bundle up and look good in the cold. The long coat is super luxurious and a good alternative to all the tuxedo blazers we've been seeing.

She tops it all off with cool shades, leather boots, a black vest, and jeweled turtleneck. Since jeweled turtlenecks are hard to come by, throw a tiered necklace over your turtleneck and that should do the trick. Now you're ready for the mean streets.

Online Sale Alert! 50% Off at Ron Herman

I was in LA over the weekend so I just had to stop by the Ron Herman boutique in Brentwood to check out their massive sale. Don't even get me started on the crazy traffic I had to sit through to get there...but once I saw the top-notch selections, it was all worth it! Cameron is one lucky lady these days. Not only is she the talk of Tinseltown, she's also ultra-popular on Fab this week! The actress has been all over the world lately, and lucky for us, many outfit inspirations have come out of it. At the Italian version of MTV's TRL (left), she looks very Summer-y and very Cuban-chic in her fedora. At yet another Shrek 3 premiere, (right), she's a tad more confused, mixing a rocker belt, classy cropped jacket and a casual thermal tank.
