Fab's March Most Wanted

It's official – we're ready to begin Spring shopping! Hopefully everyone knows the trends through and through and have decided which ones work for you. I'm going to dabble in the artsy and floral themes, as does this month's most wanted. One thing that marries all the best of the Spring trends for me is this Yves Saint Laurent Mini Star Bracelet ($395). I can't stop thinking about its star appeal - I've already placed a pre-order. You know those songs you wish your guy would dedicate to you? This is one of mine. Whenever I hear this it makes me feel good, real good. It's uplifting, sweet, and sexy - it doesn't get much better. And I'm obviously partial to a song with "Sugar" in the title. I thought it would be fun to go live with this one, it's a pretty cool performance. I love how lead singer Ian McCulloch has a cigarette dangling from his sugar lips . . .

Halston Swoops Up Marios Schwab

After much speculation on who would replace Marco Zanini at Halston, the brand has finally chosen its new successor: Marios Schwab. The London-based designer will take over in July and will unveil his first collection, for Fall 2010, in February. "While Halston's DNA is crucial to its future success, I very much wish to move the brand forward and make it relevant for today," said Schwab. "Simple, effortless pieces realized via modern [fabrics] and technology will play a large role in how I will redefine the brand. The clothes will echo the heritage but with a very distinctive, modern feel that is completely new and completely now." Marios will also continue with his own namesake line. An edgy modern Halston? Sounds great to me.

On Our Radar: Araks Eco-Friendly Lingerie

The recent birth of designer Araks Yeramyan's child inspired her to create an eco-friendly collection of organic lingerie.

"I have been looking for organic materials for years, it was really important to find fabrics that echoed the aesthetic and quality of the brand. I am extremely conscious and committed to taking care of our environment. I try and live an organic lifestyle, from foods I eat, products I buy and now fabrics I use," Araks said.

Eight earth-friendly pieces make up the capsule collection: two bikinis, two bras, two tanks, one short and one romper, all fabricated in organic cotton and priced between $99 and $166.

On Our Radar: American Apparel Does Vintage

Fab loves vintage, eBay loves vintage, and now American Apparel loves it, too. The LA-based company opened its first vintage store, California Vintage, on Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park. It sells hand-picked clothing from the 1950s through the 1990s, along with American Apparel pieces that may not be available at the regular stores. So why vintage and why now? Employees came up with the idea after seeing the company's basement, which was brimming with vintage items. Still, there wasn't enough for an entire store so professional vintage buyers were hired to bulk up the goods.

For those of you who are against American Apparel's vulgar and sexually-charged ads, California Vintage is slated to be more tame. If you're in LA, check out the store and give us the scoop!

Old school fabric tweed is an ideal material for winter - it is moisture resistant, very durable, and very cute. Tweed automatically adds grace and sophistication, and is a fun fabric to wear in a more corporate work environment. Coach Does Cashmere

As part of its very stunning Legacy Collection, Coach is getting into the cashmere game. The leather-goods maker partnered with high-end Italian sweater brand Lutz & Patmos to create cardigans, mufflers, and other cashmere pieces that echo the multi-colored striped handbags in Coach's 65th anniversary collection.
