Emily Blunt and Dakota Fanning Link Up For Elie Saab

Emily Blunt and Dakota Fanning dressed up for a dinner thrown by Elie Saab at Crown in NYC last night. Joining the two actresses was up-and-comer Analeigh Tipton, who stars opposite Adam Brody and Greta Gerwig in today's Damsels in Distress - make sure to check out our chat with Analeigh and her leading man to find out Adam Brody's dating philosophy. Emily is close with Elie, having worn his designs on the red carpet on multiple occasions. She donned one of his frothy dresses for the 2010 premiere of The Adjustment Bureau and again for last Fall's Emmys. She has some promotional work coming up in the Big Apple ahead of The Five-Year Engagement's April 27 release. The movie is set to premiere in just a few weeks as the opening feature at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival.

Elie Saab showed a wide range of daywear and a beautiful bevy of red-carpet gowns for Fall 2012. With models clad in long hair and blunt bangs, the show kicked off with a multitude of ladylike skirt suits, loose-cut trousers, and fur coats. Casual dresses followed suit, highlighting a range of form-fitting colorblocked sheath dresses to diaphanous sheer printed renditions. However, it was the eveningwear portion of the collection that really caught our attention. Saab showed his expertise in details with a gorgeous array of sequined and metallic gowns. There were also a few sheer gowns showcasing a delicate cobweb lace detail. Which Hollywood leading lady can you picture wearing one of these amazing gowns? Thus, she adorned herself with just a single gold strand necklace, diamond stud earrings, an amethyst cocktail ring, and a white clutch. To complement the soft verdant color, Berenice donned stunning Chopard emerald-and-diamond drop earrings and a Chopard diamond ring, and toted a pretty mint-hued clutch.
