While Malin is busy promoting her latest flick, Watchmen, I'm busy going gaga over her outfits. The actress's latest appearance in Toronto had her rocking an all-black, vampy ensemble. She played a sexy game of peekaboo in her sheer black ruffle blouse, with nothing underneath but a black bra. Smart of her to keep the rest of her body covered in faded black jeans and slouch boots. A black beaded necklace and black cocktail ring further feed the moodiness.

Fab Finding Follow-Up: Bring on the Trunk Shows

It's trunk show season. And you better believe I'm not missing out on any. It's vital to look fashion forward, as you never know who will be there. If I'm lucky, maybe the designer! I asked you to help me put together an ensemble that will blow people's socks off.

It's been a while since we've seen Dita in her Wonderbra. And boy does she do it justice - she makes me want to give the brand a new try. I know my waist will never be as teensy as hers, but the Wonderbra does promise to work wonders right? Having Dita as the brand ambassador was a smart move, and Wonderbra has revamped its website to be sexy and interactive, but where's Dita within the site? Back to the ads at hand, I dig the large one, where Dita is admiring herself in the mirror. The sexy colors and shadows set a sultry mood, and doesn't she kind of look like Elizabeth Taylor? The smaller shots are a bit too Photoshopped for my taste - isn't Dita perfection without the airbrush? What do you think?

Fab Flash: Rebecca Minkoff Launches a Sportswear Collection

After a failed attempt with her contemporary collection back in 2001, famous handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff is back at it again. With the help of Los Angeles-based celebrity stylist Ilaria Urbinati, Minkoff is determined to get it right with her new sportswear collection. “I was a one-woman show and I couldn’t handle it all myself,” said Minkoff. "With Ilaria’s background and my design experience, it was a no-brainer for us to collaborate."

For Spring, the duo has designed a jacket-heavy collection inspired by Elizabeth Taylor and the '80s cult classic, Blade Runner. Expect to see tailored dresses, leather jackets, brocade trenchcoats, high-waisted pencil skirts, and low-cut blouses, all detailed with Minkoff's signature strong hardware found on her handbags. The line will wholesale from $70 to $335 and will be exclusively sold at Confederacy and on RebeccaMinkoff.com. The Fall '09 collection will be available at specialty stores and high-end retailers.

Happy 45th, Valentino!

This past weekend, while showing his Fall couture show, Valentino celebrated his 45th anniversary in the fashion biz - quite the accomplishment...bravo!

It all started in 1961, when Valentino Garavani dedicated five evening gowns to Jackie Kennedy, and she become a loyal client - she wore Valentino when she mourned President Kennedy, and she wore Valentino when she married Aristotle Onassis.

But in his 45 years of fashion, Jackie O hasn't been the only woman wearing Valentino for an important event in her life: Julia Roberts, Sophia Loren, Jane Fonda, and Hilary Swank have all accepted Oscars in Valentino dresses. Elizabeth Taylor was wearing Valentino when she met Richard Burton. Valentino outfitted Princess Diana to help her transform from shy girl to princess material.

The man has been around - at 75, his contemporaries Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, even Coco Chanel - have long passed on their legacies to other designers. But Valentino's not ready to stop yet - he continues to quash rumors of his retirement - as he told The Telegraph: "I am already working on my next collections." Let's hope there are many more collections yet for Valentino!

Fab Flash: Fashion Designer Gianfranco Ferré Dies

I'm sorry to report that designer Gianfranco Ferré, 62, the "architect of fashion," died Sunday night in Milan after being hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage. He was noted for being one of the designers who generated the boom in Italian fashion from the eighties into the nineties. Ferré's architectural silhouettes were favored by the likes of Sharon Stone, Elizabeth Taylor, Oprah, Sophia Loren, and Princess Diana. May he rest in peace.
