Teen Choice Awards: Best Dressed

While there were lots of winners at the Teen Choice Awards, only one lovely lady will take home the award for best dressed. Black and white seemed to work the best on the green grass carpet. Jordana, Leighton, and Emma all showed different takes on the classic color combo. Ashley Tisdale rocked our worlds with her two-tone dress and rad accessories, while Alexis delivered some much needed quirk. I think I have a feeling who takes home this crown . . .

Everywhere I look these days, I spot a cool beanie. It makes me want to expand my collection with a bevy of colors and fabrics. You lose most of your body heat through your head, so grab a cheap beanie and be on your way - for sure if you live in a chilly city. It looks like beanie babe Emma Roberts, spotted at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival holding her new Celine bag, has already done so in her pink version. Beanies are an easy way to accessorize, and if you get a neutral color, it'll match with everything you wear.

As you can imagine, they've ditched their sandals and brought along heavy-duty boots. But that doesn't mean they've left behind their style. Au contraire. Ladies like Zoe Kravitz (left) have taken the cold weather as an opportunity to layer and bundle up in beanies, coats, gloves, and tights. Who Wore It Better? Chloé Scallop Shorts

The House of Chloé designed scallop shorts as part of its Spring '09 collection. They're so unique, Kate Bosworth and Emma Roberts have both already experimented with them. Kate wore hers in October in a nude color, paired with a white tank and matching blazer. Emma, on the other hand, kept her look monochrome ivory, with the exception of her navy pumps. She added a tuxedo flair via an ivory Helmut Lang blazer piped with satin. Both ladies opted to pull in menswear qualities, but who wore their Chloé scallop shorts better?

Emma Roberts has blossomed into one sophisticated young lady. She recently strutted the red carpet in Myne's grape belted silk mini dress. But instead of wearing the thin belt that comes with the frock, she shook things up with a thick studded one. It makes the look interesting and age appropriate. Her caged sandals add a layer of sexy severity to the mix. If she continues like this, I hope to see more of the stylish actress soon.
