Unsurprisingly, Dita von Teese was the most dramatic with her astral Stephen Jones headpiece, but the rest stunned with their gowns.

It's been a busy week with the start of New York Fashion Week, but you better believe I've been keeping a close eye on those stylish celebs. This week's gang is mostly fancied up — George Clooney's girl Elisabetta Canalis worked the red carpet in teal blue Roberto Cavalli, Eva Mendes balanced sexy and elegant, and Penelope Cruz experimented with a new color. But in my humble opinion, Alexis Bledel stole the show in her one-shoulder Christian Siriano.

We believe Eva Mendes was born sexy, so I don't quite understand it when she hides her sensuality. I've noticed that the actress has been dressing ladylike, sometimes matronly, for most of her red-carpet appearances. Don't get me wrong, she's still stunning, but especially after seeing her in those steamy Calvin Klein underwear ads, I've been craving more of Eva's sexy side.

For glam factor, the steamy model adorned herself with stacked bangles, white-rimmed sunnies, and chic canvas and leather bag — love it.
