You loved Rachel Weisz in emerald green dip-dyed Valentino; how about Evangeline Lily in a turquoise version? At the Looking For Eric premiere, "Freckles" and new L'Oréal lady opted for a cool crisscross bodice and high slit, but it's the bright-to-dark turquoise hue I adore. With the high neck, pulling her hair back in a slick pony was totally a good call. Thoughts?

2008 Emmy Awards Trend Alert: Dripping With Beading

Lavishly beaded dresses are no strangers to the red carpet. Nevertheless, their gorgeousness paid us many visits at the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards. Whether on neutral, black, or white dresses, sparkly beads and crystals made the carpet a much more luminous place tonight. Case in point: Kyra Sedgwick in L'Wren Scott (left). Without the bead detailing, the dress would simply be a plain white dress. Gasp! Beading also appeared on asymmetrical straps, cap sleeves, trains, and sprinkled all over. See who else was dripping with beading.

Lost star Evangeline Lilly wanted to keep things neutral, so she chose a strapless muslin Elie Saab Haute Couture dress in a peachy color. The rest of her look is rather simple, except for long diamond earrings. Thoughts?

I never noticed how teeny this Lost star is! She looks very petite but very happy in her wraparound Versace gown. We have thus far seen so much Grecian draping it's making me dizzy, but this gown has some punch. What do you all think?

The Grey's Anatomy star went for classic Hollywood glamour, pairing a beaded, nude-toned Escada gown with a Jimmy Choo clutch.

Lost's Lilly kept it bold and simple, accessorizing a purple strapless Versace gown with glistening Neil Lane platinum and diamond earrings.

The Golden Globes Red Carpet: Grecian Goddesses

Grecian style dresses made a bold statement on the red carpet last night, and I must say, I loved every last one of them. From Drew's elegant draped white Christian Dior to Eva's embellished navy Emanuel Ungaro, all six of these leading ladies were dressed to impress. Loose hair and simple makeup completed these looks, but where were all the fabulous jewels we are used to seeing? That said, great job on the red carpet lovelies!
