Weddings, vacations, weekend barbecues - extra activities mean extra stress, so it's important to step back and do what you can to stay sane. Already feeling a bit anxious? Check out these 11 ways to avoid the pressure and amp up your positivity.

Control outer chaos. One of the simplest ways to feel better is to tidy up your space. A neat closet, organized drawers, and a clean desk can do wonders for your mood. Pressed for time? A quick 20-minute cleanup at the end of each day can be enough to maintain an orderly, uncluttered environment.
Get moving. Increase the endorphins and loosen up by sticking to a regular exercise schedule. Stay sane by taking a short walk during your lunch breaks or join a fitness class with friends to boost the relationship benefits, too.
Eat well. If you're eating badly, chances are you'll feel bad - both physically and emotionally. Do your body and your mind a favor by eating regular, balanced meals that leave you energized.
Catch plenty of Zs. Running on empty is a surefire way to feel stressed, so do whatever you can to get at least seven or eight hours of sleep each night. Wind down early, follow a consistent sleeping schedule, and try to force yourself to wake up at the same time each day.
Minimize screen time. The TV is on, your phone is beeping, there are seven windows open on your laptop - staying connected can be overwhelming. See if you can limit the hours you log online each day, then turn off push notifications on your smartphone to gain a bit of peace and quiet. Another idea: pencil in screen time as if it's an appointment, then commit to tuning out as soon as the time's up.

David Beckham is the first man to ever grace the cover of Elle UK, and in honor of the special occasion, he's shirtless and wet in the July 2012 issue! The full feature appears in the July issue of Elle UK, which goes on sale tomorrow. It's a special edition to coincide with the beginning of the Olympics in London, David's hometown. He's been especially active in hyping up the games, and even brought the Olympic flame to the UK earlier this month. In the magazine, David spoke about his dedication to soccer, not fame, and shed some light on his family life with wife Victoria, their sons, and nearly 1-year-old daughter Harper. Here's more from David Beckham in Elle UK:

On not setting out to be famous: "I never thought about the money, the fame. It never interested me, and it doesn't interest me now. None of that has ever excited me . . ."
On having a daughter now: "It's great. I love to bite her legs, or shoulders. It's how a baby should be. She's so beautiful. There's no more love for a daughter than there is a son, but it's just different. When they (boys) are kids you can roll them around and they fall to the sides and they pick themselves up and they're fine. Whereas Harper, now, she hits herself just slightly and she cries . . . I still think 'Oh God, I can't believe this, I've got a girl.' And to see the boys with her it's incredible. When they walk into the room, her little face lights up."
On catching up with his wife: "She comes home and shows me what she's been doing all day and what exciting dresses and bags she's got coming through. And then I say something boring like 'I got kicked today.' But we listen to each other. We try to go out at least once a week, just the two of us, a quiet dinner somewhere. It's not about wearing a nice dress or a nice suit. It's just going out and chatting and having some time together."

To me, Summer is all about being in the backyard, walking around barefoot. Unfortunately, my daughter hasn't yet learned the joys of feeling the grass under her feet, so a picnic blanket or outdoor mat is still a must-have now that I'm a yard-owning suburbanite as it was when I spent Summer afternoons at the park when I was a city dweller. If you've never tasted mustard greens, then it's time to get acquainted with this tasty, peppery vegetable. First discovered in the Himalayas in India, mustard greens have become an integral part of cuisine in Asian countries like Nepal, India, Japan, and China, but they're also a staple in some parts of the US! They're typically associated with the tasty, old-school favorites of the Deep South, but they're a delicious and healthy option for kitchens all over the country, since they're easy to grow and even easier to prepare.

Whether you're going to enjoy them raw or cooked, when choosing mustard greens, the rule of thumb is to make sure to look for pretty green leaves without yellow spots or browned edges. Once you bring them home, put them in a fresh plastic bag, and remove as much of the air from the bag as possible. Keep them stored in the refrigerator, but be sure to enjoy the greens within three to four days for optimal texture and flavor.
