There is one strong styling trend emerging from the runways at New York Fashion Week: lots and lots of layers. Designers like Helmut Lang, Rag and Bone, and Rebecca Taylor showed vests over jackets over sweaters over pants (or some combination, you get the picture), and one of the interesting styling combinations includes dresses over pants. Yes, that's our SJP underneath this sculptural Philip Treacy fascinator. She wore it for a ladies luncheon in Australia, pairing the statement piece with a Chanel tweed dress and a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels. Since the wedding of Prince William and Kate, we've come to know fascinators; what's interesting about this one is its lack of frills and architectural scale. What do you think?

Honestly, we're not sure how we feel about kids under 18 sporting Chanel, but Hailee Steinfeld and Elle Fanning showed there's a way to wear it without compromising their fun-loving youthfulness. Elle went for a black and white look, accessorizing with a super cool clear clutch and a pretty bow ring, while Hailee chose a short gray dress and accessorized with the cutest silver-tipped booties we've seen. The accessories really make their outfits feel fun and age-appropriate. Whose look do you like better?

Last night, celebs stepped out in style to celebrate the 2011 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund finalists at Chateau Marmont. We spied three particularly fashionable ladies in the crowd: Dianna Agron made an appearance wearing a black and white printed dress by Libertine paired with point-toe pumps and a pretty wavy hairdo. Kate Bosworth showed off her abs in a two-piece ensemble by Proenza Schouler paired with black accessories and a poppy orange lip. Meanwhile, Michelle Monaghan opted for a minimally modern look comprised of a colorblock skirt and simple tee. Each of the attendees offers her own spin on Fall dressing, but which look do you like best?

Spring 2012 Fashion Week Trend: Would You Wear a Crop Top?

We've spotted a fair amount of skin making its way down the Spring 2012 runways - and designers are zeroing in on one not-so-subtle way to flaunt your figure. From Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Missoni, and more, crop tops are taking over the catwalk. The cropped, bustier-style tops are being paired with longer flowing skirts, à la Missoni, tea-length ladylike skirts, like we saw at Dolce & Gabbana, and slick pencil skirts from Versace. This isn't a look well-suited for wallflowers, but if you're in the market for a sexier style, this might be your thing. So tell us, would you wear a crop top or is this look better left on the runway?

Are You Still Interested in Androgynous Models?

Earlier this year, the fashion industry was fixated with transgendered and androgynous models like Jana K., Lea T., and Andrej Pejic who have appeared on runways, magazine covers, and fashion campaigns. Today, New York magazine released its Fall fashion issue featuring Andrej Pejic in shirtless stance similar to the one he posed for Dossier magazine a couple months back. That issue received much controversy after Barnes & Noble demanded that Dossier's publishers hide the cover in an opaque plastic bag, but it seems like New York magazine is having no issues with flashing Andrej Pejic's shirtless cover on newsstands today. Tell us, do you think androgyny is still an interesting topic, or are you over it?

Do You Prefer Lady Gaga Dressed Up or "Down"?

Lady Gaga is known for her crazy outfits, like the bondage-esque outfit she recently wore on a visit to SiriusXM Studio, seen right, but we always wondered what she would look like pared down. Now we know: the musician was spotted in a conservative look - for Gaga standards - in LA last night comprised of a Versace tulip-print dress paired with black Christian Louboutin pumps. Yes, that's her; no crazy makeup, no crazy hair, and just a pair of square shaped sunnies and a cuff bracelet. We like seeing this toned-down version of Gaga, but tell us which look you prefer.

Fringe Dresses: Love It or Leave It?

The first time we donned a fringed dress, it was because we were dressing up as flappers for Halloween. Lately, we've been seeing fringe pop up in some glamourous versions - Naomi Campbell in elegant Givenchy couture, young actress and singer Kat Graham showed up to the Teen Choice Awards in a party-ready mini with floor-length fringe detail, and Olivia Wilde donned a one-of-a-kind Gucci dress with gold and black beaded fringe for a Cowboys and Aliens photocall in Italy. The dresses may be different, but we're curious to hear what you think of the trend. Would you buy a fringe dress, or is it too much for real life?
