What a night! This year's Met Gala showed a bevy of inspiring, drop dead gorgeous looks from celebs, and while it was hard choosing, there were five women in particular who displayed utterly perfect ensembles in our fashion book. Diane Kruger stunned in a breathless purple feathered gown, Carey Mulligan shimmered in a whimsical one-of-a-kind paillette dress, and who can deny Gwyneth's chic and sexy, back-exposing gray silk number - all three ladies wore Prada. Furthermore, there was Nina Dobrev who shined in slinky black and gold Donna Karan Atelier gown, while Solange Knowles killed it in a sunny yellow peplum gown by Rachel Roy. We've pored over all the looks from tonight's Oscars red carpet, and while the competition was tough, five women debuted looks that were simply perfect in our book, and thus, they get our nod for best dressed. Rooney Mara, Angelina Jolie, Jessica Chastain, Michelle Williams, and Gwyneth Paltrow were the best-dressed women on the red carpet. Our criteria? It's not about the biggest jewels or the flashiest dress; rather, it's about who knows how to pull off a look the best, and picking the gown is just the first step. With colorblocking being such a huge trend for Spring, we were thrilled to see two lovely ladies sporting it at the Vanity Fair Oscar party last night in Hollywood. Rosario went for a tropical mix of turquoise, orange, and magenta in her Salvatore Ferragamo gown, while Venus opted for pink and purple Christiane King. Both showed lots of leg. Rosario, however, kept jewelry to a minimum and accessorized with black peep-toe heels, while Venus chose statement earrings and sparkly heels. Who wins this match?

Who Suited Up Best at the Independent Spirit Awards?

The dominant trend at the Independent Spirit Awards may have been the blazer. Kirsten Dunst, Michelle Williams, and Jessica Chastain suited up in three very different ways. Kirsten was short and flirty with her Dolce and Gabbana black minidress and white blazer, while Michelle went for a crisp boys look in her Louis Vuitton shorts suit and buttoned up white shirt. Designers like Helmut Lang, Rag and Bone, and Rebecca Taylor showed vests over jackets over sweaters over pants (or some combination, you get the picture), and one of the interesting styling combinations includes dresses over pants. Last night, celebs stepped out in style to celebrate the 2011 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund finalists at Chateau Marmont. We spied three particularly fashionable ladies in the crowd: Dianna Agron made an appearance wearing a black and white printed dress by Libertine paired with point-toe pumps and a pretty wavy hairdo. Kate Bosworth showed off her abs in a two-piece ensemble by Proenza Schouler paired with black accessories and a poppy orange lip. Meanwhile, Michelle Monaghan opted for a minimally modern look comprised of a colorblock skirt and simple tee. Each of the attendees offers her own spin on Fall dressing, but which look do you like best?
