Even before I saw super-stylish Rachel Bilson sporting these fringed boots on a recent shopping spree, I've been noticing a lot of Native American-inspired fringy fashions surfacing this Fall, including tunic-style dresses and leather accessories. Here are some of my favorite fringed finds.

I have always been a huge fan of the ugly Ugg Boots. They're comfortable and practical, and these Women's Keira Ugg Boots are super stylish, too, with embroidery, studs, and three layers of fringe. Buy them here for $250. Available in cork (light brown) or espresso (shown).

Balmain in the Bag

Calling all glam-rocker girls: Balmain has just announced a handbag line and it's sounding as studly as its Fall collection. The small collection is set to include black leather messenger bags embellished with crystals or studs along with a funky, fringed, rock ’n’ roll bag iced with silver hardware. The new line will makes its debut in Paris during Fall precollection showings - these are gonna blow up.

2009 Fall Couture: Maison Martin Margiela

For Fall, Martin Margiela didn't veer too far off from his usual avant-garde repertoire. By that I mean, he stuck with flesh-colored face masks, bare legs, and nude leotards. He also continued his love of fringe, cropped capes, and bold jackets. In fact, this collection is all about the statement jacket. No pants required, Lady Gaga style. The array of outerwear includes overly fringed jackets, motorcycle-style leather, colored fur, '80s bold shoulder blazers, and intricate cropped vests. My favorite is a fan vest . . . so Karl. It takes a risk-loving gal to worship Margiela. Are you that girl?

Fabworthy: Jackets, More Jackets, and Holographic Sequins at Vena Cava

I knew when I glanced at the run of show titled "Crystalarium" the Vena Cava show was going to sparkle. That it did, in the forms of holographic sequins and metallic fringe. But a few jackets also sparkled for me. As hinted, the Fall offerings were inspired by a trip to the American Museum of Natural History's Hall of Gems and Minerals.Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai conjured up a brilliant mix of a silver foil print rayon cardigan (pictured), motorcycle jackets (taupe leather pictured), and wool cropped jackets. The black asymmetrical wool blazer was unique amongst a sea of Fall blazers - P.S. they're not going anywhere - and atop a hypnotizing rainbow sequin skirt it was galactic chic. Worn over VC's girlie-but-not-too dresses and tame ruffles, these jackets beckoned me. This avid jacket collector will be waiting for these standouts come Fall.
