Even before I saw super-stylish Rachel Bilson sporting these fringed boots on a recent shopping spree, I've been noticing a lot of Native American-inspired fringy fashions surfacing this Fall, including tunic-style dresses and leather accessories. Here are some of my favorite fringed finds.

Diane Kruger Goes Short and Sexy For a Grand Interview

Diane Kruger teamed up with Ewan McGregor and designer Jean Paul Gaultier for an appearance on France's Le Grand Journal earlier today. The trio, who are also Cannes Film Festival judges, spoke with journalists about this year's competition, which kicked off yesterday with the star-studded premiere of Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom. Speaking perfect French, Diane bubbled with excitement about the upcoming films while Jean Paul critiqued the red-carpet fashion - catch up on all the Cannes Film Festival photos!

Following Diane's sit-down interview she met up with boyfriend Joshua Jackson. Diane changed up her look once again and stepped out in a red dress at a Calvin Klein bash. Josh and Diane cuddled close during the party and seemed to be in high spirits. He's coming off last week's season Fringe finale, and will return in the Fall for the show's fifth, and final, season.

It's that time of the year again! It's Upfronts Week and that means the networks are unveiling their Fall schedules. NBC has already revealed its lineup and now Fox has given us a peek at what their new season will look like. Glee will be moving to Thursdays while several new shows will be debuting. New medical drama The Mob Doctor will be sliding into the Monday slot currently occupied by House and Tuesday will be a two-hour comedy block featuring Raising Hope, New Girl, and new comedies, Ben & Kate and The Mindy Project. In all, the network ordered three new comedies and two new dramas, though two shows, The Goodwin Games and The Following, will wait until midseason to debut.

Yes, we are months away from Fall, but who wants to wait to check out all these gorgeous creations from the best American designers? Not us, and now's the time we start forecasting next season's trends. We noticed an overarching theme of structure and minimalism; designers like Alexander Wang and Phillip Lim showed a delectable array of totes and ankle-strap sandals punched up with bold colors and textures. Meanwhile, designers like Michael Kors and Diane von Furstenberg highlighted luxurious embellishments in the way of fur and artful appliqué. Also, could the crazy platform heel be seeing the end of its day soon? Alexander McQueen Fall 2012

All gorgeous iterations of volume and texture, Sarah Burton gives us a new slant on Alexander McQueen's futuristic sense with femininity and optimism for Fall 2012. She tapped right into girlish fantasy from the very beginning and saw it all the way through in pinks, fuchsia, floral-embellishment, and the most extreme proportions of fluff and fur. There may be less of the provocative, darker sense that McQueen's later collections were made of, but that's not to say that Burton doesn't impress with her own artistry. The shapely play and construction are a testament to Burton's expertise. Floral-embellishments feel like full rosebushes on voluminous tiers, feathers and fringe move like beautiful sea creatures, and sculptural laser-cut looks have the delicacy of porcelain. In every piece, Burton tells her story - romantic, yes, but not tinged in nostalgia; with mirrored visors on, McQueen's girl is still looking toward the future.

Key Piece: The white and black laser-cut looks were a beautiful departure from the extreme volume.

Isabel Marant Fall 2012

For her Fall 2012 collection, Isabel Marant mixed her signature bohemian-cool style with a splash of the Wild West. Specifically, it was the late 19th century cowgirls that inspired Marant: "I love the way they were wearing very masculine trousers to ride horses with lace shirts," said Marant. That said, the designer mixed feminine pieces with tougher elements by pairing a bevy of cowgirl shirts and sheer blouses with ruffled skirts and cropped pants. The latter featured a mix of fringed jeans and a standout pair of louche gray suede trousers with red trim. Short dresses ranged from laser-cut leather minis to a silk shirtdress rendition of the cowgirl top. Shoes are always a big seller for Marant, and we can already predict a long waiting list for her newest offerings: point-toe pumps with cutout details and embroidered leather cowboy boots. With PETA protesters outside and six-by-six model formations on the runway, it was a chaotic scene at Emporio Armani's Fall 2012 show. The collection, described by Armani as "animated by fun, ironic touches, alluding to the roaring '20s, made all the more unpredictable by the addition of Bermudas," was just as exciting. Whimsical was the name of the game; knicker-inspired trousers were layered under the majority of the looks, paired with velvet dresses, beaded peplum skirts, and fun rose petal vests - all while paired with oxfords and slippers. The extravagant delight didn't stop there; hot pink velvet jackets, camellia-embellished dresses, and louche multicolored sequined jackets also made an appearance on the runway.
