Set in a Rachel Feinstein-designed, storybook-inspired, castle-in-ruins Winter wonderland, Marc Jacobs presented his Fall 2012 collection with more than just a little fashion fanfare. The first word that comes to mind? Hats! And lots of them, all by mastermind milliner Stephen Jones, each one more wonderfully whimsical than the one before. These wild toppers, in addition to the parade of rich, slightly oversized outerwear, giant safety-pin closures, bejeweled square-toed shoes, luxe ostrich-skin handbags, and more, served as a serious testament to Marc's vivid imagination. All flights of fancy aside, though, there were ultra-wearable pieces peeking out from under the more fantastical garb. Click to watch the entire collection.

One thing's for sure - nothing is off limits or out of the realm of possibility when Marc Jacobs is at the helm. Set in a Rachel Feinstein-designed storybook-inspired castle-in-ruins Winter wonderland, he presented his Fall '12 lineup with more than just a little fashion fanfare. The first word that comes to mind? Hats! And lots of them, all by mastermind milliner Stephen Jones; each one more wonderfully whimsical than the one before. These wild toppers, in addition to the parade of rich, slightly oversized outerwear, giant safety pin closures, bejeweled square-toed shoes, luxe ostrich-skin handbags, and more, served as a serious testament to Marc's vivid imagination. All flights of fancy aside, though, there were ultra-wearable pieces peeking out from under the more fantastical garb. To this point, we spied cozy layered tweeds in muted tones, shimmery metallic pencil skirts in looser silhouettes, and slick cropped pants sent out in leather, brocade, and jacquard versions. Marc Jacobs's Les Misérables-meets-Dickensian disco-meets Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter tea party collection certainly highlighted the fact that fashion, at its core, is whatever you make of it . . . and yes, wildly fun.

Trends: rich textiles like brocade and jacquard, floppy hats, oversized outerwear, fur-accented accessories.
Colors: Muted jewel tones - green, purple, ruby red, pink, slate gray, and black.
Key Piece: Slightly oversized coats in luxe fabrics and cropped pants in every texture, from leather to brocade.
Accessories: Fabulously fantastical hats in every color, square-toed shoes with crystallized buckles, long opera-length gloves with finger cutouts, and large boxy totes, some covered in fur, some made in decadent ostrich skin textures.
Who Would Wear It: The fashion-daring set, like Anna Dello Russo.

Barbie and Ken Celebrate 6-Month Anniversary

Happy Valentine's Day! In honor of the lovey-dovey holiday, French photographer Béatrice de Guigné is sharing the "trash the dress" photo shoot she did for happy couple Barbie and Ken! We loved the cheeky photos Béatrice shared last year of Barbie and Ken's wedding, and these Winter wonderland six-month anniversary pics are just as fun! The plastic pair are participating in a newlywed tradition that's been especially popular in the last decade. A "trash the dress" photo shoot usually involves a couple taking fashion magazine-style photos some time after the wedding without worrying about getting the wedding dress dirty or destroyed (like in this case, frolicking in the snow). Lady Gaga's Workshop Opens at Barneys - Step Inside!

Last night we joined Gaga fans and fashion enthusiasts at the opening of Lady Gaga's Workshop at Barneys in NYC. Wearing a custom-made white tweed dress by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Gaga unveiled her 5,500-square-foot Workshop housing everything from Gaga-inspired sweet treats to accessories to even things for your home (hello, pearl-encrusted teacup!). As a guest in the store, you feel more like you've landed in Willy Wonka's factory - albeit with Gaga's signature flair - than a floor at Barneys. With rainbow-bright hues, technicolor sculptures, and candy displays, the place feels almost like Wonderland where we could have spent hours marveling at Gaga's collection and shopping the night away. That's just what celeb guests like Blake Lively, Brad Goreski, and Prabal Gurung did, making their way around the workshop and sipping cocktails at Lady Gaga's grand opening. We caught up with Blake, who aside from picking up a few Gaga goodies, revealed other items on her holiday wish list: "I've been going a little Chanel-crazy lately. Also Brunello Cucinelli, I just love his sweaters and his jackets - that's been my Fall splurge." Want to see more? Rachel Zoe Spends Quality Time With Skyler as She Waits For Breaking Dawn's Big Release

Rachel Zoe and her 8-month-old son Skyler took a stylish stroll around Beverly Hills yesterday. Rachel wore her signature wide leg pants while baby Skyler rocked a printed hat and miniature driving moccasins. It was Skyler's latest fashionable outing following a busy weekend. He was one of many celebrity children to attend Nicole Richie's Winter Wonderland event on Saturday after also being treated to lunch at Le Pain Quotidien with parents Rachel and Rodger Berman Friday.

Rachel took a break from Skyler to talk about her other love, Twilight, recently. She passed our How Well Do You Know Twilight quiz with flying colors and also admitted to almost naming her son Cullen, after the vampire family in the series. Rachel shared that she'll probably be watching Breaking Dawn Part 1 in the theaters and that she's looking forward to seeing the birthing scene on the big screen. She doesn't have to wait much longer since the movie comes out tomorrow, and the whole cast was in LA Monday for the Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere in LA.

Whenever I take those "style quizzes" for fashion or interior design, no matter how hard I try to fix the answers, I'm always awarded the "whimsical" description. All right already. I'm whimsical (aka nuts!). I get it. I'm OK with it, because I'm not the only one who likes a little quirk. Take British interior designer Abigail Ahern, whose home photographer Todd Selby recently shot. Ahern's home is brimming with quirky style. Her sense of scale is so wild, touring her home feels like stepping into a scene from Alice in Wonderland. Bright or deep, she doesn't shy away from color, and there's an idiosyncratic accessory, often an animal item of some sort, on every tabletop.

Sounds looney tunes, right? Not so much. In fact, it's pretty stunning. Come take a tour of Ahern's home, and then try to tell me you don't love whimsical interiors!

Think: Fresh colors, patterns and scale."I definitely think upholstered headboards are going to continue to be popular in 2011, but we'll be seeing them in a lot of different patterns and textures, as well as varying heights," says Caitlin Creer of Caitlin Creer Interiors in Salt Lake City. "They'll also be paired with wild patterns for pillows and bedding."

Another up-and-coming trend: Unexpected twists on traditional favorites. "We're seeing classic wood finishes, carved and sculpted into intricate designs and patterns - not just the wood slabs that have been popular for years," adds Creer. "These shapes and curves add an architectural feeling to a bedroom and create a real sense of artistry and fantasy."

Just flip through the pages of ELLE Decor and House Beautiful, and it's plain to see she's right - over-the-top headboards once reserved for boutique hotels and glossy magazine spreads are making their way into the home. Here are a few of our favorites:
