As the new face of Balenciaga fragrance, Kristen was one of the most anticipated attendees at the presentation of the line's Fall 2012 ready-to-wear collection today. We saw Kristen picking up her Balenciaga look at their LA store last week and now we finally get to see what was inside that garment bag. Kristen spent Oscars weekend back in California with boyfriend Robert Pattinson, though the two skipped out on the red carpet festivities and opted to get cozy at more low-key soirees instead. Kristen will have tons of opportunities to show off her style in the coming months with not one, but two movies hitting the big screen. She'll be taking Snow White and the Huntsman around the world ahead of its June debut, and now that we have the first official poster for On the Road, hopefully we'll get more concrete release dates for that film as well.

Kristen Stewart stopped by Balenciaga's West Hollywood boutique with her publicist Ruth Bernstein yesterday. Kristen, who is the face of the company's new fragrance, was dressed down in a yellow tank and her usual sneakers, but it looks like she picked up a dressier outfit since the duo left with a garment bag.

Kristen returned home to LA earlier this month after a quick trip to Paris, where she posed for a feature in an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. Her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, is also back on the West Coast following a stop at the Berlin Film Festival to premiere Bel Ami ahead of its March release in the US. Rob and Kristen have been staying under the radar, but they were spotted showing PDA at a friend's birthday bash recently. They'll have more opportunities to party as a couple in the coming days since there are multiple events taking place as LA celebrates before this Sunday's Oscars. Rob and Kristen have both attended Vanity Fair's annual post-Oscars fete before, so we'll have to wait and see if they make another appearance on the star-studded evening.

Joan Smalls Talks Fashion Week Survival and Fall Obsessions at FNO!

At last night's David Yurman fête, we caught up with the gorgeous Joan Smalls - one of our favorite fab faces and the face of Yurman's Fall '11 campaign. Between bites of mini-cheesecake and black and white cookies, Joan shared a few bits of fashion week survival strategy, her favorite part of the week, and what she's toting from show to show.

On fashion week prep: Get a lot of sleep, I drink a lot of water, go to the gym, make sure you're strong enough to walk down that runway.
Favorite thing about fashion week: Those 30 seconds on the runway. That's your time to shine, that's your time to show the beautiful garment that's been created for so long. I think that's the one moment that excites me the most.
Fashion week indulgence: Chocolate.
Off-duty style: Casual, classic-chic always. Sometimes funky depending on my mood - like tonight, I'm wearing flats with a dress because it's FNO, and I need to be comfortable.
Inside her bag: Some heels, portfolio, my makeup wipes from Estee Lauder - cucumber, which is good, because after all that rubbing and scrubbing all that makeup on your face, it cools your face down before you get more makeup applied, which is pretty essential . . . and, cell phone.
Fall fashion obsession: I just got my new fashion obsession: a Givenchy jacket with the panthers and the orchids. I'm waiting until it gets cold, so I can finally use it.

Katie Holmes sported leather leggings from The Row as she left NYC's Bowery Hotel this morning with her Holmes & Yang design partner, Jeanne Yang, and another pal. The trio headed off to a meeting with handfuls of Barneys garment bags and perhaps a few of Katie's latest purchases. Katie's been exploring the Big Apple with Suri Cruise for the past week after their recent trip to Vancouver to visit Tom. Their stay on the East Coast is helping fuel rumors that Katie may make a return to Broadway, but first up will be some promotional duties for her controversial miniseries The Kennedys.
