Fab Flash: Katie Holmes and More Costume Institute Gala Attendees Revealed!

We already learned that Fergie and Liv Tyler are attending as guests of Calvin Klein, and Tilda Swinton is accompanying Prada, but as the Costume Institute gala fast approaches on May 5, more details have leaked.

Giorgio Armani is said to be dressing Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, and Katie Holmes, but it doesn't stop there. Rumor has it that Jennifer Lopez is coming with Alberta Ferretti, Kate Bosworth with Chanel, and Eva Mendes and Rachel Bilson are also attending with Calvin Klein.

They haven't been connected to specific designers yet, but other expected attendees include Renée Zellweger, Scarlett Johansson, Kate Moss, Mary J. Blige, Claire Danes, Mischa Barton, LeBron James, as well as designers Valentino, Tom Ford, Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana, and Donatella Versace.

Fab Flash: Superheroes at the 2008 Costume Institute Exhibit

The Metropolitan Museum of Art has chosen "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy" as the theme of its Spring exhibit. The museum plans to explore the superhero's iconic costume of cape, mask, and bodysuit as it has appeared in fashion. The exhibit, which is co-chaired by Giorgio Armani, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour, will run from May 7 to September 1, and the accompanying gala, known as the Oscars of the fashion industry, will be hosted on May 5.

Approximately 70 ensembles will be featured, from high-performance sportswear and iconic movie costumes to avant-garde couture looks spanning the decades, all inspired by Catwoman, Wonder Woman, the X-Men, and more. Designers represented include everyone from Balenciaga, Armani, and Alexander McQueen to Jeremy Scott, Pierre Cardin, and Nike.

Which Ocean's 13 Man is the Most Dashing?

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie Ocean's 11. One of the things I liked most about it was Brad & George's characters' sharp style. In Hollywood the women are no doubt the peacocks and get most of the fashion attention; I am guilty of this too. But Ocean's 11 brought crisp suiting and well-manicured men back to the big screen and boy was it fun man candy. Here is the cast of Ocean's 13 rearing to go at Cannes and what a lineup of dashing men, sans Ellen Barkin of course. If you look at the choices below I think you can see which fellow gets my vote (drool), who gets yours?!

It's been a busy week with the start of New York Fashion Week, but you better believe I've been keeping a close eye on those stylish celebs. This week's gang is mostly fancied up - George Clooney's girl Elisabetta Canalis worked the red carpet in teal blue Roberto Cavalli, Eva Mendes balanced sexy and elegant, and Penelope Cruz experimented with a new color. But in my humble opinion, Alexis Bledel stole the show in her one-shoulder Christian Siriano. I mean, between the red lips, the two-tone frock, and the red pumps, it's perfection. See who else dazzled us.

Comfy & Cute Travel Clothes!

I was just on a European adventure and one of the customs officers actually complimented my passport and how many stamps I have - yay! So I think it's safe to say I am an experienced traveler - maybe even a jetsetter? I know that some of you dress up when traveling, and some of you don't, but I try to find a happy medium. I must be comfortable, but you know me: I must be chic. I always feel that even though I don't travel First Class, I like to still dress the part.

When traveling to your romantic honeymoon destination, my fantasy is a trip to Tahiti with George Clooney, you'll want to look extra adorable for your new hubbie. Here are some comfy & cute travel clothes that will prove wearable on the rest of your trip...you can save your sexy lingerie for when you finally arrive at your destination!
