There were lots of fun, star-studded events this week. From a U2 concert to a fancy gala, Fab favorites like Diane Kruger, Amy Smart, and Reese Witherspoon dressed the part in everything from leggings to dresses. And notice they're taking on light colors.

Most concert-goers don jeans and a tee but not Ginnifer Goodwin. The actress attended the U2 concert in Pasadena looking chic in all black. Up top she wore Joie's black flutter-sleeve lace top, then completed the look with slim, black IRO trousers and Stella McCartney pumps.

Look who got her hands on a Matthew Williamson for H&M dress before it hits stores! Although — she doesn't look very happy to be wearing it, smile Ginnifer! The Big Love actress wore the artsy dress to a party in Las Vegas, but opted to leave it loose for an effortless look.
Trend Alert: Gorgeous Grommets
It's easy to see what makes Ginnifer Goodwin's ensemble stand out: her gorgeous grommet clutch by Stella McCartney. Once used strictly for reinforcement purposes, grommets have exceeded their functional expectations and are now used as an embellishment. I'm particularly taken with grommet sandals and handbags but if you're feeling super funkadelic, try it out on a top or dress.
