Right after it was revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is taking over David Beckham's Emporio Armani underwear modeling contract, we get more exciting news: 23-year-old hottie Megan Fox - here, sitting front row at Giorgio Armani's Couture show - is set to be the new face, er body, for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. She's taking over from Victoria Beckham. But unlike David and Victoria, Cristiano and Megan won't be appearing together. Darn! Starting January, you can see Megan's billboards and print ads, which were shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in LA. Thoughts?

2010 Spring Milan Fashion Week Fab Roundup!

Even under a scrunched time line, Milan Fashion Week stunned with numerous beautiful collections. In this roundup, I highlight some of my favorite designers, including Versace, Ferragamo, Fendi, and Armani, to name a few. I admit, Dolce & Gabbana's collection was my favorite, but that's not stopping me from showing you Bottega's soft and swirly frock, Gucci's cut-out wonder, and Emilio Pucci's magical prints. I can't seem to resist this tropical bohemian masterpiece from Etro. Simply a-mazing.

Giorgio Armani Dresses Katherine Heigl in The Ugly Truth

To help her look extra fabulous in The Ugly Truth - movie opens nationwide today - Katherine Heigl received a little wardrobe help from Giorgio Armani. We just found out the designer collaborated with costume designer Betsy Heimann on a couple of Heigl's key looks in the romantic comedy. His favorite piece from the film is this sexy Armani LBD worn by Heigl in a key scene. If you love it, you can purchase it at an Armani store near you for $950. The dress will be available next week at Armani/5th Avenue in Manhattan and at the Emporio Armani boutique in Los Angeles.

2009 Fall Couture: Giorgio Armani Prive

Giorgio Armani's Couture collection exuded wild, intricate details and I loved it all. For Fall, the mastermind experimented with three elements: modernity, rocker chic, and sophisticated tailoring. The results? A smashing lineup of decadent paliette pantsuits, satin frocks, zebra-print blazers, beaded skirts, and velvet aplenty. I love how he mixed together different textiles for maximum interest and texture - my favorite has to be this multimarvelous skirt suit. Fab-u-lous. Beaded and sequined headgear lent a vintage, flapper vibe to the collection while zipper and fur embellishments added a youthful touch. It's risky mixing together so many different textures and elements, but Armani once again proved his cunning capability.

As long as the cunning Cruise '10 collections keep coming in, we'll continue sharing them with you. Next up, we have a mishmash of ensembles ranging from crisp to ethereal by Gucci, Michael Kors, Giorgio Armani, Anna Sui, Christian Dior, Derek Lam, and Narciso Rodriguez - phew! I love how Gucci's Frida Giannini kept things sleek and sexy with streamlined cuts and colors. Keeping the neck high and slit high on this gown is a genius move. Oh, but there's more - don't miss it.

Fab Blab: January Says Crazy, John Says Pajamas at the Armani Store Opening Party

Was I ready for the Armani party? Affirmative. After getting manicured and coiffed at the Waldorf Astoria Fashion Week Suite, I couldn't have timed a little pampering better because the event was pretty insane. The star-studded party celebrated the new Fifth Avenue store containing all the Armani brands under one roof. It may sound excessive in dire times, but Armani declared, “One must go on. [This store] is an act of courage and faith towards America, a country that has supported me from the very beginning,” he said. “I think an entrepreneur should demonstrate a certain degree of bravery, even in difficult times, and I certainly wasn’t going to change my plans.”At one point, a star or star editor was in every direction. I got a chance to say hi again to Mad Men beauty January Jones. Looking sirenesque in a beaded LRD, she yelled "Great to see you. It's crazy here!" She was going to attend a couple more fashion shows today and then she was outtie. The best quickie quote of the night, though, was John Mayer. When asked how his Armani suit felt, he gushed, "It feels - a great suit feels like a pair of pajamas. And I could sleep in this thing. Thinking about going fetal right here, in the building.” Lastly, a couple high profilers slipped by me, but I had to mention how decadent in Armani Victoria Beckham looked.

Take Asian-inspired gear, give it a good tug and a shake, and you get Giorgio Armani Privé Spring couture. But it's far more complicated than it sounds. Let's break it down. If you're into shoulder love, then this collection will speak to you. Whether on gowns or suits, prominent shoulders took center stage and added a theatrical edge. Another standout: flipping. Suit jackets, skirts, and pants all featured whimsical flips, whether on cuffs or hemlines.

Armani splashed in certain bold-colored items to spice things up. Vivid purples, yellows, and reds all demanded attention, especially next to the rest of the blacks and neutrals. A few moody florals crept in, as did sequins and ruffles. All in all, yet another stellar collection, one that transports you to an exotic world . . .

Fab Flash: Victoria Beckham Strips For Armani
