A good chunk of Gisele's fortune comes from the Brazilian shoe line she does on the side of all her modeling work: Ipanema. Her newest addition to the Ipanema collection benefits the "Y Ikato Xingo" effort, which aims to preserve the sacred waters of the Xingu River. Here is the latest ad campaign, and since the shoes are so water-centric, it takes the theme and runs with it: Gisele is "wearing" a dress made of water.
Since 2001, Gisele's footwear line called Ipanema has sold over $100 million dollars worth of sandals! The line is inspired by the legends of the Brazilian Indian people and the sandals are now available in Malaysia.
However, instead of just celebrating these legends, it has been reported that the shoe manufacturer, Grendene, has decided to help them too.
