Fab Ad: Gisele for Ipanema

A good chunk of Gisele's fortune comes from the Brazilian shoe line she does on the side of all her modeling work: Ipanema. Her newest addition to the Ipanema collection benefits the "Y Ikato Xingo" effort, which aims to preserve the sacred waters of the Xingu River. Here is the latest ad campaign, and since the shoes are so water-centric, it takes the theme and runs with it: Gisele is "wearing" a dress made of water. How cool is that?! Though the shoes themselves aren't very high fashion, they look functional and are for a good cause. Plus, Gisele looks beautiful, as always, and her long flowing mane goes well with the flow of the water. Do you agree?

Fab Flash: Gisele in U2 Music Video?

She's won the hearts of many over the years, but Gisele has won one big heart recently: that of U2 frontman Bono. They apparently first hit it off when Gisele appeared in Bono's RED charity campaign and refused payment, but now it's looking like they might be taking it a step further.

The model is reportedly in talks with Bono to star in U2's next music video. If it happens, Gisele will join a long and venerable list of supermodel cameos in music videos: think Linda Evangelista in George Michael's "Freedom," Christie Brinkley in Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl," and Kate Moss in the White Stripes' "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself." Viva La Bundchen!

Fab Ad: Aquascutum Fall/Winter 2007 Featuring Gisele

Gisele may have recently parted ways with Victoria's Secret, but that doesn't mean she has said goodbye to modeling once and for all! The Brazilian babe is back in front of the high fashion lenses for Aquascutum's Fall/Winter '07 ad campaign. And don't forget she will be the upcoming face of YSl's Fall ads too. This is good news to all you Gisele fans!

Shot in Cliveden - a British mansion infamous for housing a political and sex scandal in the sixties - Gisele is cast by photographer Mario Sorrenti as a bombshell involved in trysts and intrigue. The ads will run in magazines starting in August and September.

I love the idea behind the photographs, but I'm not so sure about the clothes and the finished product. What do you all think?

Fab Flash: Gisele Y Ikatu Xingu Footwear Collection

Since 2001, Gisele's footwear line called Ipanema has sold over $100 million dollars worth of sandals! The line is inspired by the legends of the Brazilian Indian people and the sandals are now available in Malaysia.

However, instead of just celebrating these legends, it has been reported that the shoe manufacturer, Grendene, has decided to help them too.

The Kisedje Indians have a campaign called "Y Ikato Xingu" which is aimed at preserving the waters of the Xingu River and the forests that protect this sacred and necessary water. Portions of the profits from the footwear will be donated toward the campaign.

This new collection of shoes comes from a graphics workshop that began in April, which gave the Kisedje's and Gisele a chance to create a unique product.

Gisele is responsible for handpicking the tribal images found on the inner-soles of each of the sandals within this collection, which includes footwear for women, children and babies.

So Gisele is a supermodel and philanthropist? She sure makes it hard to hate her!

Fab Flash: Gisele is Still Number One

IMG Models have confirmed that uber gorgeous super model Gisele Bündchen will walk only one runway at Milan Fashion Week. It will be next Thursday for the Fall 2007 Dolce & Gabbana show. This is the first show she has walked for them since Spring 2003. Her spokesperson said:

“Gisele has a fragrance with Dolce and is doing their show exclusively in Milan next week.”

Oooh, sounds like an upcoming Beauty Byte to me! The fragrance referred to is The One by Dolce & Gabbana , and will be launched in the U.S. this summer. No fair - it has already been available in Europe for months!

The One features the Brazilian beauty in both print and television ads. This is the first new fragrance launched by the Italian duo since their licensing deal with Proctor & Gamble Prestige Products in December 2005.

We can't wait to see the gazelle-like Gisele dressed in Dolce at the show on Thursday. At least we know she'll smell great!

Fab Ad: Gisele For London Fog

If anyone can make a trench sexy it's Gisele. Iconic outerwear brand London Fog is clearly aiming to vamp up its image. This is Gisele's first fashion cameo after the announcement of her pregnancy. Dari Marder, chief marketing officer, London Fog, commented, "Nobody is sexier or more beautiful than Gisele Bündchen in nothing but a London Fog trench coat, even with her visible baby bump. This London Fog campaign features a classic portrait of Gisele in an iconic London Fog trench; it is a very fitting image for this timeless brand." Marder added, "Although Gisele was photographed while pregnant, most of the shots have been retouched to respect her privacy during this wonderful and personal time in her life." 'Tis true - I'm focusing on the allure of the classic trench, not Gisele's growing belly. Look out for Gisele in her sexy trench in October fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment magazines, outdoor billboards and online. What do you think? Do you like that they downplayed Gisele's bump?

Fab Flash: Rampage Nabs Gisele Bündchen

Rampage has upped the ante by nabbing one of the hottest supermodels for its ad campaign: Gisele. Gisele is said to be replacing model Petra Nemcova, who has been the face of Rampage for the past two and a half years. For its '09 Spring campaign, Gisele was photographed in Beverly Hills wearing an array of Rampage's trendy offerings such as this hot pink maxi dress. Gisele was also said to be very helpful in the whole process.

“Gisele was so involved with these shots. It was interesting to see what she picked out to wear - these pieces were some of our bestsellers,” said Dari Marder, chief marketing officer for Rampage. “She picked the photographer, the hair stylist, makeup artist, and she helped us craft the campaign, which is very unique for us.”

The campaign hits glossies worldwide come April and will also make a debut on a Times Square billboard in NYC.

Her gangly, athletic physique and long sun-kissed locks are a photographer's dream; she does action, portrait, couture, and - of course - swim. She does it all. Trend Alert: Denim de Blanco

Fab may be going through a white phase. But let's admit: white is white hot! Especially when Gisele is wearing denim de blanco (and a Phillip Lim blouse. I actually lived in my cropped white jeans last weekend and made it to Sunday night without a spot. If you're resistant to the heat, I recommend a slim cut, no matter what your body type. Or, a slight boot cut. And heels always slim one right up. We can't all look like Gisele in this Summer staple, but we can sure try.

I never tire of seeing photos of Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady at this year's Costume Institute Gala. Can you blame me? She looks insanely sexy in that Versace number and Tom is her hottie man-cessory.

They look immaculate dressed up, but Gisele and Tom prefer to be cas(ual) when holding hands and trekking the streets of New York and LA. Tom's style is a mix of sporty and preppy, while Gisele tends to keep her ensembles rough. Still, they complement one another via dark color combinations. It's highly unlikely you'll ever see them in brights - brown, navy, gray, and black are the pair's favorite colors. But really, when you're that beautiful, who needs loud clothes?
