Sure, diamonds are a girl's best friend, but we've always had a real weakness for a gorgeous pair of heels. This year marked the debut of Marc Jacobs's moon boot wedges and Prada's flatforms, but we were also introduced to Charlotte Olympia's quirky cat-faced slippers and stacked platforms, and treated to another wonderful dose of Louboutin's red sole-induced magic. Brian Atwood debuted his gorgeous - and more accessible - lower-priced line, B by Brian Atwood, and Giuseppe Zanotti had us hypnotized with studded and spiked creations. There was never a dull moment, and we're turning it over to you to make the call -who is this year's best shoe designer?

Lindsay Lohan and Kanye West were the guests of honor last night as Giuseppe Zanotti opened a new store in Beverly Hills. Kanye was out on the West Coast having a fashionable evening following a stint in NYC, where he joined Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester at a Nylon party and checked out a basketball game during his downtime. The event marked Lindsay's first big public outing since her release from rehab a month ago, but things for her haven't been as calm as she may have hoped. She's been in the middle of a scandal over a stolen necklace, though she appears to be trying to minimize the bad publicity and focus on her work. Her efforts may not pay off, as it seems the LA district attorney will charge her with a felony over the alleged theft.

Bull's-eye, every time. Giuseppe Zanotti's footwear ads tug on my fashion heartstrings. They're always so fun, fabulous, and sexy. And Anja Rubik, shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, is the beautiful beast for the brand. Even though we loved stepping on male model Andrés Velencoso Segura in the Spring ads, Anja's greaser babe is perfection. And wasn't I just boasting the highly effective use of leopard and red?
