Gossip boy Ed Westwick hosted a bash at LA's Confederacy for artist Todd DiCiurcio's new show Heartstrings over the weekend. It was sponsored by Rag & Bone, so as you can imagine, the crowd was understated and styley. Ed's girl, Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr stood out in her androgynous pinstripe suit and chunky chain necklace. Also there to support were Hilary Duff, Ashley Greene, Lindsay Price, Bijou Phillips, and more. Brick walls lent a raw vibe, while darkly dressed guests made the scene feel straight NYC.

New York Fashion Week, Fall 2009: Heart Truth Red Dress Collection

Today was my first official full day of Fashion Week and I couldn't have kicked it off with a better show. The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection is a feel good show that benefits a good cause - heart disease in women. It was super fun because fearless celebrity females strutted their stuff in various red designer dresses. It was cool to see Vivica Fox sing down the runway in her super sparkly Jenny Packham gown, and gold medalist Nastia Liukin work it in a saucy BCBG LRD. These stars proved that you can make serious waves in a red dress. With a touching introduction by the beloved Tim Gunn, a parade of famous faces took the stage.Before I leave you, here are the four things you can do to prevent heart disease: eat right, be physically active, do not smoke, and keep your body weight low. Following in the footsteps of Rachel Bilson's Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans collection will be actress/singer extraordinaire, Hilary Duff. The newest celebrity designer has teamed up with DKNY Jeans to create a trendy collection named Femme for DKNY.

“I love the idea that the collection reaches a lot of people and provides them with so many different options,” said Duff, left wearing her designs. There is truly something in this line for every girl whose styles change every day, like mine does. I think it’s the perfect line for young girls who can’t afford to buy a lot of clothes these days.”

The Femme for DKNY Jeans collection will debut in the Fall at all major retailers. It looks promising; we can't wait to see more!

Like many of the other guests, Hilary opted for an LBD. But hers isn't any old black dress; it has a sexy sheer layer. She then cinched her ensemble with a wide leather belt and kept her feet simple with black patent pumps. She dressed up her earlobes with large earrings - her signature.
