Iman was one of my favorite red-carpet queens when she wore her Donna Karan sequin halter dress a few weeks ago. Now, French actress Eva Green is here to challenge her. Let's break them down. Supermodel Iman opted for more bling via diamond bracelets and diamond drop earrings. Eva, on the other hand, kept her glimmer to a minimum by wearing a small ring and stud earrings. In the beauty department, Iman matched her lipstick to her gown, while Eva wore a contrasting burnt-orange shade. Both ladies look amazingly svelte, but who wore their Donna Karan gown better?

A bevy of gorgeous gals came out to celebrate Fashion Group International's 26 Annual Night of Stars. From 54-year-old Iman to 22-year-old Evan Rachel Wood, all of the ladies looked ravishing in their red carpet duds. Unsurprisingly, Dita von Teese was the most dramatic with her astral Stephen Jones headpiece, but the rest stunned with their gowns. I know which one's my favorite; which one's yours?

What a bounty of beauties. This week's mix of favorites range from straight-up red-carpet glamour to sidewalk casual chic. With a few Fashion Week memories thrown in for fun. Kate Moss provided eye candy all week at Paris Fashion Week, Iman made a cameo in an unforgettable gown, and Leighton pleased in punky Louis Vuitton. Possibly the most adorable photo goes to Margherita Missoni and her fashionable friends at the Valentino Spring show. How cute are they in their savvy style and bug-eyed shades? Fab's Fashion Night Out!

While Pop was chatting it up with Gwen Stefani, I was doing what Fashion's Night Out was supposed to do - shopping! And gallivanting and celeb-spotting. You ready for my FNO adventure? My fellow fashion junkie friend and I started at Bergdorf Goodman where many fashion festivities were going on. Along the way I saw Rachel Bilson and Hayden waiting for their car in front of their hotel - I said hi to her but don't think she remembered me from when I interviewed her at Brian Reyes's show last Fashion Week. Moving on, as expected, there was a line to get into the department store, and it was a madhouse inside. I spotted jewelry designer Philip Crangi on the way in; it's hard to miss him, he looks like a pirate. We went straight to the shoe department where we fawned over Balmain boots, Giuseppe Zanotti lovers, awesome Alaia's, and Chanel flats. We quickly decided to leave the Bergdorf madness, but stopped at the M.C.L jewelry counter and said hi to model cutie Karlie Kloss on the way out.

We dashed down to Soho - my main goal of the night was the Intermix party where Sienna and Savannah Miller were hosting. The streets were alive with fashion! I had to pop into J.Crew (conveniently located across the street from Intermix) where I bought a super-cute long gold jeweled mushroom pendant.

Intermix was the place to be, with an ultra-fashion-y crowd and cool '80s tunes. Someone asked us if it was true Rihanna was supposed to come and before I knew it flashes were frenzied and there she was. We were actually in line for the bathroom when this happened and her and her posse came right towards us hence my super-close picture of her. She was incognito chic in a black wraparound-hooded dress and insane Grace Jones-esque shades and crimson lips. She posed for pics with a subtle smile on her face, the crowd was mesmerized. What a cool surprise! But where's Sienna?

There she is, sis in tow. But Sienna's hosting wasn't nearly as impressive as Rihanna's - the Millers sisters were outtie, they didn't even stay for champagne. Wha? We had a dinner date at Indochine at 11p.m., but along the way my friend bought a pair of fly boots from Steven Steve Madden and I scored a glam rockin' purple sequin blazer from Topshop. They aren't online, so I can't show you, but they're dope and we did our economy-stimulating part of the evening. Done and done.

Cruising into Indochine was unreal. Iman was in the first booth, post-bartending at Barneys Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were in the next, and models Lily Donaldson and Daria (Daria!) Werbowy were smoking cigarettes another booth away. Can you say awesome? We met up with fellow bloggers Faran from Nylon and Britt from Fashionista and gobbled up wonderful exotic fare. At one point I was in the bathroom with Iman and totally froze - her beauty is unreal. I headed home and had sweet dreams of fashion - goodnight Fashion's Night Out!

Who's Most Fab at the American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala?

Last night was the 69th Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring gala at the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC. The elegant event saw equally chic attendees like Ivanka Trump, Iman, Claire Danes, Lindsay Price, and Coco Rocha. The go-to designer of the evening was Carolina Herrera and almost everyone had the blues - a gaggle of blue dresses draped gorgeous bods like Ivanka's. Either way, the significant others are the ones who motivate and morally support of our favorite models. When I was Fab-in-training - aka the '80s - Iman was the model of the moment. Even before then, in the '70s, Yves Saint Laurent claimed, "My dream woman is Iman." Born Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid, the Somalian model helped pave the way for African-American models and I remember her so distinctly. She was elegant and elongated, yet approachable and sweet-faced. It's too bad the makeup of the '80s was so severe - her face didn't need any of it. She continues to make modeling cameos, but is most busy with the cosmetics line she launched in 2007 for women of color. She's still going strong out and about at red carpet events and parties; hopefully one day I'll get to finally meet the mythical Iman . . . Source

Sneak Peek! Iman's Global Chic Jewelry Line

Model Iman's collaboration with HSN is still going strong but her latest pieces for her Global Chic line have made me take notice. I've never been one to spend a fortune on jewelry, and even if I could afford it, I would still seek out fabulous costume jewelry. If you're like me, be sure to check out Iman's jewels.

The latest selection mostly consists of bracelets, like this Golden Goddess Dangle Cuff ($65), and rings, with a few earrings and necklaces in the mix. Each piece is bold, fairly priced ($35 to $75), and sure to get tons of compliments.
