Charlize Theron Breaks From SWATH to Talk Motherhood and Dating in InStyle

Charlize Theron got glamorous for the cover of InStyle's June issue, which hits newsstands this Friday. She's currently in the middle of a whirlwind press tour for Snow White and the Huntsman and hit the red carpet for the film's London premiere yesterday. Charlize told us she's excited to share the movie with fans though in the magazine she touched more on her personal life including dating and her newly adopted son Jackson. Here's more from Charlize Theron in InStyle:

On getting older: "I see my face and my body changing, and they’re all changes I’m OK with. Part of me understands I may not be in front of the camera forever, and maybe not just because of age, but because of me. I wouldn’t have started my own production company if I didn’t feel that way."
On adopting son Jackson: "Motherhood was something I always knew I wanted to experience. What a great opportunity for someone like me who wants to have a family. I can only hope to be 10 percent of the mom mine was to me. She encouraged me to be confident and enjoy life. That’s what I want for my son. So far I’m not surprised by anything about being a mom. It’s all pretty great-but that’s what I expected."
On dating: "I’m always open to a relationship, but I’m not putting those feelers out there now. I’m not unhappy with it, but I’m not like, 'Oh, this is so much better than when I was in a relationship.' I am a relationship girl. That’s kind of just how I’m made."

Cameron Diaz Talks Love and Children With InStyle

Cameron Diaz covers the new issue of InStyle, which is out on newsstands in the US on Friday, April 20. Inside the magazine, Cameron poses in a range of couture styles she personally spied from the runways during Paris Fashion Week back in January. In an accompanying interview, Cameron spoke about making the rounds in France and meeting with some of her icons like Karl Lagerfeld. Cameron, who has What to Expect When You're Expecting hitting theaters on May 18, also got personal. She talked about her past loves and her future, which could include children of her own. Here are highlights from Cameron Diaz in InStyle:

On having short hair now: "It's freeing, and I feel so much lighter."
On her dating history: "I would never have guessed that I would end up dating any of the guys I’ve dated - never! There’s no through-line between them. But I love love, and love comes from many different places. When I was going through a bit of a heartbreak a little while ago, I said to a friend, 'Wow, this really hurts!' And he said to me, 'That just shows you what your capacity for loving is.'"
On having kids someday: “Society definitely puts pressure on women to make them think their lives should go a certain way. I’ve never said I don’t want children - I just haven’t had children yet. I don’t know what’s going to happen in my life! I could end up adopting children. I could end up with a partner who already has children. Who knows? I’m not trying to fit into anyone’s box about how I should be. I just fit in my own box."

Jennifer Aniston slipped on a slinky peach Calvin Klein dress for the cover of InStyle's March issue. She's promoting her new comedy, Wanderlust, which hits theaters later this month. Jennifer met her boyfriend, Justin Theroux, while working on the project, and the duo have been going strong from NY to LA ever since. Jennifer opened up to the publication about what she's looking for in a man, Justin's signature style, and her age. Here's more from Jennifer Aniston in InStyle:

On her age: "You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are 20-something, or the new crop of actresses, and think, Aren't we kind of the same age? I don't feel my age. I feel young every day."
On finding the right partner: "Having experienced everything you don't want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down to what you actually do want. As I get older I realize what qualities are important in love and what suits me. And what I won't settle for."
On dressing like Justin: "First of all, he has great style - it's very specific, and it has been his style forever. Has it influenced mine? No, but I know people say it has. 'Oh, look, you're dressing alike.' And I think, No I'm not. I've had this jacket for three years!"

Drew Barrymore Goes Bright to Talk "Pushing 40" and Her "Positive" Relationship

Drew Barrymore posed in a crisp white dress for the cover of InStyle's February issue, which hits newsstands this Friday. She's promoting her new movie, Big Miracle, and sharing excitement about the project with her fans in our latest I'm a Huge Fan contest - enter for a chance to meet Drew! Press for the big-screen release will be even sweeter since Drew is also celebrating her recent engagement to Will Kopelman. She opened up about her happy relationship, growing up, and aging gracefully in the publication. Here's more from Drew Barrymore in InStyle:

On growing up: "I’m pushing 40. I feel like those things that I always aspired to are finally being realized. I used to be afraid to let go of the intensity. I thought the work would suffer. But the lesson is, No, it’s still good, and I’m a lot happier-and less of a nervous kid."
On her fiancé Will: "He’s lovely. He’s very, very nice. It’s really positive. I’m super-happy… We go on group trips and spend holidays together - there’s a lot of love! And that is really nice and very different from the way I grew up, which was more unstable and inconsistent, with a lot of highs and lows. It’s funny, when I was younger, I used to say I’d hate a flat line-that I want the ups and downs, the rollercoaster. But I’m actually really enjoying the flat line."
On avoiding plastic surgery: "I say, don’t fight the rings on the trunk of a tree. Just keep counting ‘em. The idea of not looking like myself scares me. I just think a person’s character is what’s interesting… I look 10 times better after an exercise class than I do at any other time of the day."

Beyoncé Knowles Sparkles in InStyle to Chat Babies, Marriage, and Jersey Shore

Beyoncé Knowles struck a pose for the September 2011 issue of InStyle, which is on newsstands Friday. The superstar is doing the press rounds to chat up her latest album, 4, and has been in NYC performing a string of shows at the Roseland Ballroom. A reviewer was highly complimentary of her Sunday concert, writing in The New York Times, "She is thunder, Beyoncé is. Fire and quake. A thing that can't quite be contained. There is not any better advertisement for Beyoncé than Beyoncé herself, a hard worker who makes effort look like the most glamorous thing in the world." Beyoncé herself spoke about her work in the magazine, also touching on why she took time off and how she's ready to have a family with husband Jay-Z. Jay has his own music to celebrate with the release of Watch the Throne, and he was off in Miami over the weekend dropping $300,000 on a party at the Fontainebleau. Beyoncé revealed more about herself, including a love of TV that includes Jersey Shore. She said:

On why she slowed down her career: "It was difficult. I had to turn down great things, but I did it for my sanity, my life, my relationships, my nephew, my husband, my sister, and my friendships. I deserved to give myself time to focus on things besides performing, filming, and recording."
On starting a family: "I sacrificed so much as a kid and as a teenager. I have no regrets because my job kept me focused. When you're young - 18 or 19 - you have the energy and drive. That's the time to work as hard as you can. Now I'm a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children. I want to make my job a part of my lifestyle so that I always enjoy what I'm doing."
On her guilty pleasures: "In my free time I prefer to do nothing but sit on the couch and watch TV. I have to confess that my guilty pleasure is Jersey Shore. I love going to the movies and to Broadway plays too. When I get home, the first thing I do is take off my stilettos!"
On a surprising fact about her: "You might be surprised to know that the last thing I want to hear at a club is one of my own songs. I get so uncomfortable. It's that awkward moment when you know that everyone is watching you to see if you're gonna bust a move to your own song."

Katie Holmes Talks Suri's Fashion Sense and the Possibility of Another Baby in InStyle's August Issue

Katie Holmes is on the August cover of InStyle, wearing a shoulder-baring pink dress and her favorite charm necklace featuring her daughter Suri's initial. Katie modeled for the magazine as she gears up for the release of her upcoming comedy Jack and Jill, as well as her horror movie Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. The actress and designer is busy on the big screen this Summer and Fall, but is also staying focused on fashion, recently launching her latest Holmes & Yang collection. Katie was happy to dole out some of her advice on how to dress, as well as share her take on her daughter Suri's much-talked-about style. Here are highlights:

On taking fashion risks: "I'm not afraid to try a new designer or do something trendy, but it has to look right on my body. You don't want to look like a fashion victim!"
On her favorite indulgence: "Nice undies. They make you feel special when you put them on in the morning. Even when I was a little girl I loved my 'days of the week' pairs. I love the hot pink ones - that makes my day!"
On Suri's style: "I do not dress her. She dresses herself! Obviously, I buy her clothes, but she is the one who puts her outfits together. In fact, she helps me. If she likes something of mine, I know it's good."
On whether she'll have another baby: "I don't feel pressure to do that. We already have a very big family: a full household with cousins who are over a lot, and she has her friends. My biggest thing is making sure she's fully taken care of and doing well."

Kate Hudson Opens Up About "Tempting Fate" For a Pregnancy With Matthew Bellamy

Kate Hudson scored the May cover of InStyle and in an accompanying interview chats all about her new movie, Something Borrowed, and the new phase of life she's entering. She spoke candidly about meeting her boyfriend, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, and how they weren't entirely trying to avoid having a baby. The actress is already mom to 7-year-old Ryder Robinson, and she seems to be loving being pregnant - there have been plenty of Kate Hudson bikini moments over the last few months! Kate had this to say about Matthew and the pregnancy:

On first meeting Matthew: "[I was] watching Radiohead's Thom Yorke with a guy I knew from high school, who introduced me to Matthew. We realized we had met a few years earlier, in Australia. Then I got distracted and said, 'I've got to find my friends; I don't know where they went.' He just looked at me and said, 'Come on, I'll take care of you.' That's when I went, 'Wait a minute, who are you?'"
On starting to date Matthew: "In the beginning I felt like, OK, this is going to be heavy. Am I prepared for this? Because it had been a while, and I wasn't looking for that. But I just couldn't stay away. I wanted to talk to him and be with him all the time. On our first dates, we would take long walks and talk the entire day."
On sort of planning for the baby: "Well, it wasn't like we didn't know what we were doing. There were no ovulation kits involved. We were tempting fate, and it worked. . . . I didn't think I was going to have another kid until I was maybe 33 – that was in the back of my mind before I met Matthew. But we were so in love when it happened, it was just so exciting for both of us."

Are You Excited For Tina Fey's Bossypants Book?

Tina Fey is on the cover of April's InStyle, and inside the magazine she chats about some of the issues facing working moms that she describes in greater detail in her new book Bossypants. She spoke about the challenges of balancing her career with raising her 5-year-old daughter, Alice, and touched on an instance where Gwyneth Paltrow mentioned something similar only to receive a barrage of nasty comments. Tina balanced those heavier topics with some of her characteristic wit in the article, saying of Alice, "Kids are definitely the boss of you. Anyone who will barge into the room while you are on the commode is the boss of you. And when you explain to them that you're on the commode and that they should leave but they don't? That's a high-level boss." It's certainly just a taste of what's to come in Tina's book, which is available next month. So, tell us - are you excited to read Bossypants?

January Jones, the face of Versace this season, chose a red gown with a plunging neckline by the label for her Golden Globes appearance. “I had seen the dress at the runway show in another color and I got it in red,” the Mad Men star said of her look, which featured fringe strands from top to bottom. So what was the original hue for this gown? An eye-popping cyan blue, first spotted at the brand’s spring 2011 runway show (shown).
