On Our Radar: Gap Launches Limited Edition Artist T-Shirt Collection
Gap will be unveiling a limited edition artist t-shirt collection set to launch in select stores and online May 15th. In celebration of the 2008 Whitney Biennial, Gap has joined forces with top contemporary artists in producing limited edition artist tees. Some artists include Chuck Close, Jeff Koons, Marilyn Minter, and Kiki Smith with t-shirt designs ranging from political messages to colorful abstract confections.

As you know I'm on a YSL kick, especially in the handbag arena, and the designer of 2007, Alber Elbaz, may have some stiff competition in the Year of the Rat.

Let's take a mini escape from Fall and focus on resort. For their Cruise '10 collection, Gucci ditched most of its Fall '09 models but kept Natasha Poly and added Snejana Onopka. The campaign was shot in Barcelona by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott — Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin previously shot Gucci campaigns.
