Yes, Kate Beckinsale and hubby Len Wiseman are a handsome couple, but so are the star and her glorious gray clutch. This neutral hue gives off a casual yet refined vibe without taking the spotlight away from an outfit. I love wearing my gray clutch with bright ensembles for extra contrast, but it also works with lighter tones. The intricate origami pleats are a unique touch, and I love how the actress added a rocker vibe to her look by accessorizing with a punky black and gold Roger Vivier clutch. Chunky gold earrings and a matching ring complete her red-carpet ensemble. Love the 'fit, love Cam.

Which Lady in White Is Most Fab?

Lady in red, begone - ladies in white are in full force. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicole Kidman, and Fergie all stepped onto Glamour's 2008 Women of the Year carpet in varying white gowns. Fergie (in Michael Kors) and Nicole (in L'Wren Scott) opted for floor-length while Sarah Michelle kept hers short. Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr also wore a long white J Mendel but to a different event - the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation's annual A Magical Evening Gala. Finally, Molly Sims attended a benefit for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in a goddess-like white gown. It's clear these ladies shine in white, but which lady in white is most Fab?

New York Fashion Week, Spring 2008: J. Mendel

In the words of a fellow Sugar girl: "woweeee." J. Mendel delivered a undeniably gorgeous and feminine red carpet-worthy collection. If you have a soft spot for luxurious, flowing gowns - look no further. But before I go on about the gowns - where was the house's trademark material: fur? I know fur isn't very Spring-y but there were a only a couple occurrences. I wonder if Mendel was easing off the fur for political reasons?

Resuming...strutting to the disco beats of empowering Donna Summer, the early part of the collection showed some nice, crisp separates, but the latter part stole my attention. Soft pleats, fine chiffon, soft silk and goddess details like the one shoulder and ruching made for fabulous fashion. The devils advocate may argue it was a bit redundant, but when Mendel does a dress it is anything but typical. My only beef: those rosettes. Gag me with a spoon!
