We're kicking off a night of megawatt glamour at the Golden Globes with the beautiful Claire Danes. The actress stepped out onto the red carpet in an ultra-elegant black and white J. Mendel gown, complete with sequin embellishments at the shoulders and waist. We love that she keeps her accessories minimal, with a diamond bracelet and just a set of diamond stud earrings, but amps up the look with an elegant updo and gorgeous red lips. How'd she do?

Anne Hathaway sure loves longsleeve column gowns! She wore a sparkly one to the Golden Globes, and now she has once again chosen the same column style dress for the promo shot for the 2011 Oscars. The black number - J. Mendel's black silk jersey longsleeve gown with detailed bodice and column skirt, to be precise - is definitely a perfect fit. And it coordinates well with cohost James Franco's black tuxedo. Give her a good look and tell me, do you love this or hate it?
