The life of the single gal can be lonely. But there are no tears here. Single gal, meet single sleeve. Dramatic, sexy, and ready to party. Just look to Jada (see left) for inspiration. But I'm confused. You loved Alexis Bledel's Mischen one sleeve LBD, but not Maria Sharapova's Lanvin. What gives? Single sleeves for everybody!

Who Wore It Better? Strapless Metallic Monique Lhuillier Dress

Times are A-changin' when a reality starlet and a movie star are wearing the same dress. Kristin Cavallari wore Monique Lhuiller's gorgeous strapless metallic dress to the 2008 MuchMusic Awards in Canada, while Jada Pinkett Smith wore it to the Women in Film + Lucy Awards last night. As you can see, each chose to accessorize with a unique belt. Kristen's is a bit more ethnic, while Jada's features a classic gold bow. As for footwear, Kristen dressed her feet in sandals, while Jada wore patent pumps. Whose metallic number outshines the other?

Who Wore It Better? Catherine Malandrino Spring Print

This fresh Catherine Malandrino Spring print was not only an obvious fave of the designer herself - she created both a dress and blouse from it - but is shaping up to be a celeb favorite as well. You all had mixed feelings when Serena wore it last week so I must ask if you think Jada wore it better with her white palazzo pants. I'm torn. I liked Serena's minimal look and flat sandals, but Jada looks fab too! Although, those pants are pretty bold and sort of swallowing petite Jada. Thoughts?

While white dominated the red carpet last night, we were jolted by some bright, vivid hued gowns. I thought the red gowns this year were quite gorgeous, as well as the emerald green dresses worn by Renee Zellweger and Ugly Betty's Becki Newton. And Jada Pinkett Smith in a coral tiered column gown next to a bright red Mary J. Blige was a breath of fresh air. I think these women really stood out thanks to their colorful choices.

Fab Flash: Eva Mendes Delivers a One, Two Knockout For Calvin Klein Underwear

Get ready for a one, two knockout from Eva Mendes. Her role as the new face of Seductive Comfort by Calvin Klein Underwear and the Secret Obsession scent, will launch in magazines worldwide in September.

The actress, who has been devoted to the label's underwear since her campaign with Klein in the '80s, stated, "I wear [Calvin Klein] G-strings all of the time on the red carpet and when shooting for a film because you don't see the [panty] lines."

Shot by photographer Steven Meisel, the campaign's intent was to stray away from its older images of skinnier body types. "This is a departure from more slender body types that have typically been used in Calvin Klein Underwear ads. But this is not so much about a trend of being more curvaceous. This [bra] product is made for a curvaceous woman" said president and chief operating officer of Calvin Klein Inc., Tom Murry.

Just how devoted is the actress to her panties? Rumor has it that Mendes will most likely be donning her favorite nude G-string, (under clothes, of course), in her upcoming flick with cohorts Annette Bening, Debra Messing, Meg Ryan, Candice Bergen, and Jada Pinkett Smith in The Women.

Carol's Daughter is one of the fastest growing indie beauty brands. Founded by Lisa Price, in 1993, in a kitchen in Brooklyn, the celebrity-packed cosmetics company is opening its first mall store in Garden City, N.Y, on Long Island. Backed by star investors such as Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith and Jay-Z, keep your eyes and noses open for these homemade concoctions using wholesome ingredients ranging from luscious mangoes to refreshing peppermint. Current offerings include hair, bath & body, hands & feet, fragrance, mommy-to-be, men, babies & kids and gift sets.

The company's flagship store is in Harlem and they also have an online store. More big news: Carol's Daughter is coming out with their first color cosmetics collection in April. The lip gloss line, which I'm most interested in, will be called Candy Paint and include 12 shades, each $14.95.

I've got my eye on this Ocean Shea Souffle, $25 for 16 oz., to appease my dry, winter skin. Oh, and this is Mary J. Blige's pick that helps her achieve her glow - sold!

Stars like Chloe Sevigny, Svetlana Metinka, and Jada Pinkett Smith chose a classic and subdued ballet bun hairstyle for the Golden Globes last night. This simple hair look shows off their flawless makeup, gorgeous jewelry and fabulous dresses.

Not only will this look elongate your face and neck, but it will also keep you feeling neat and fuss free throughout the affair. It gives you one less thing to have to worry about. Hairstylist Campbell McAuley was responsible for creating the effortless look on Chloe Sevigny last night.

Start off by brushing your hair so that it is smooth and tangle-free and add a drop of Fekkai Glossing Cream, $19.50, to add shine to your hair.
Next, pull your hair back neatly into a ponytail at the back of the head or higher and secure it with a hair elastic. If you want a middle part, now is the time to determine that and brush hair back around the part. Also keep in mind where you would like the bun to be placed on your head. Wherever you make your pony, your bun will go.
Twist your ponytail as you wrap it around your hair elastic so that you make a coiled circular bun. Next, apply pins to keep the wrap in place. You will want to use about 12 pins per bun. Then, rub a little bit of Fekkai Technician Color-Protecting Glaze, $20, in between your fingers and gently apply it to your hair. This acts as a light gel and will hold your hair in place.
To finish, mist hair lightly with a gentle hold hairspray to eliminate any wisps. I like, Fekkai Sheer Hold Hair Spray, $23.
