Celeb Mag For African-American Women - Love It or Leave It?

The supermarket checkout counter is about to get a little more crowded. Celebrity magazine Juicy will arrive in May, giving us one more thing to flip through while we wait in line. However, the publishers don't really expect all of us to reach for it.

The magazine will specifically target one group of grocery store shoppers: African-American women: "From Jay-Z and Beyonce to what’s up with Rihanna and the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Juicy will cover the latest and greatest in hairstyles and hair products." Mainstream celebrity magazines do feature black stars, but do you still like the idea of this more targeted option?

Juicy Debuts Laptop Bags For Fall

Well, what do we have here? Velour laptop bags from Juicy, but wait . . . where's all of the pink, chains, and key locks? I'm definitely not complaining, because even though I don't have a good excuse to pick up this multicolor plaid laptop bag (back to school, anyone?), I'm still thinking it needs a place in my wardrobe. The other design? An embroidered brown and black velour bag, which includes a crossbody strap and a lobster clip. Both cost $128 each, but I'm hopeful they'll get a nice price reduction before I'm suckered into paying full price.

iChoose Juicy With iPhone Gel Cases

Since gel cases seem to be the preferred cell phone case of me, you, and your neighborhood pop star, it appears that celeb-accessory fave Juicy Couture has thrown their iPhone gel cases into the ring.

The three sherbet hues - lime green, strawberry, and white come as a set for $55, and are not different from other gel cases, except for the stamp on the back that reads "iChoose Juicy."

Looks like Steve's reach is further than we thought; should we expect to see the Apple logo on the butts of overpriced velour sweatsuits soon?

Hayden Panettiere looking super cute leaving the gym recently. I am loving her youthful and fun workout gear (much brighter than my all my black clothes). I may feel inspired to brighten it up a bit, besides the winter is dark enough as it is why not brighten it up?

Me, I could never hit the gym in terry cloth (I sweat way to much, they would weight 100 pounds by the end), but one of my good friends only works out in her terry cloth pants and loves it. The Nike Shox Sneakers are a fabulous running shoe made with cushioning, stability and traction in mind (I live in mine). Her Under Armour tank is made with HeatGear technologies designed to keep you dry on the sweatiest of gym days, plus I love the two tones. While the tank does have a built in bra, think about adding a sports bra as Hayden did for added support.
