A friend's recent trip to Croatia inspired daydreams of my future honeymoon. From what she described and the pics I saw, it has picturesque coastlines and untouched natural beauty - sounds amazing. This Très-approved country has certainly piqued my interest, so I asked you to play pretend and picture Fab newly married and off to a Croatian honeymoon. What did you pack for me?

Trend Alert: The Blonde Chubby

Fun, fun, and fun. Nothing says Casino glamour like the blonde chubby. This is something I think Sharon Stone's turbulent character wore several of throughout the Scorsese film, and, she looked fabulous. These can be found in real or faux fur, brand spanking new or vintage. How much do you want to bet Rachel Zoe's little chubbie is vintage? Emmy's hugs her shoulders just so and jazzes up her blue Alberta Ferretti frock. Sarah Michelle let her Juicy Couture chubby outshine her all-black ensemble - there's nothing wrong with that. Three attempts, three successes. The blonde chubby lives on.

Fab Blab: Angelina Jolie's Stylist Talks Separates

Jennifer Rade recently dished about Angelina's custom-made Versace dress, and now the stylist opens up about the actress's latest red carpet look. For the Hollywood Film Festival Awards, Jennifer collaborated with the actress on her sleek, all-black look. Though from afar it looks like a dress, it's actually a Karen Zambos top, Alexis LaMontagna skirt, and Tiffany earrings. "It's two separates that looked great together, clean and simple with a pretty shape, which is what we like," Jen said. Et voilá. I love fashion illusions.
If you think this ensemble is too simple, don't forget what Jennifer said before. While many of us only have a strong eye, strong lip, or strong jawline, Angelina has them all; minimal designs allow her features to shine.

Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon? Modern mustard is the latest hot hue. Hear it from Michael Kors when he says, "I think mustard has an automatic warmth to it. They work like the solid that's not a solid. A good investment piece isn't always black pants or a white dress."

This yellowish green looks best on textured fabrics, like a sweater, and if the color doesn't suit you skin tone, opt for a striking belt or bag. How will you spread your mustard?

Mmm, scallops. I love the sweet, chewy seafood treat. But, scallops are also a fun and easy look to wear. Remember Marion Cotillard looking like a majestic mermaid in her scalloped Jean Paul Gaultier frock at the Oscars? This ethereal trend comes in a plethora of shapes and sizes. My favorite scalloped look is the romantic and flowing larger cut layers. Just make sure to wear this look closer to your body to avoid any extra volume. Bon appetit!

Fab's April Most Wanted

Funny how shopping cravings go in and out with the seasons. Has everyone recovered from the holidays financially and are ready for Spring shopping?! You'll notice this month's most wanted are pretty plentiful - because Fab's in the mood for shopping. What are my Spring necessities? Trend Alert: Subtly Sparkly

Designers, and their followers (ahem) can't get enough of embellishments, i.e. mirrors, beading, embroidery and sequins. Beautiful in both the Winter and Summer, something subtly sparkly is the proper choice for a date night, a cocktail part-tay or if you just want to feel pretty. Ali Larter knows how to dazzle in her beige subtle sparkler. Because the aforementioned embellishments tend to be around the neckline and front of dresses, I suggest a lovely updo, as not to distract from the subtle sparkles. Again, Ali, nice work.
