ICYMI, there were a flock of parties this week all across Hollywood. Demi Moore wore a burnt-orange dress with glittering broach to a soiree in LA; Rachel Nichols draped herself in a sexy white by Kaufman Franco gown for her G.I. Joe promotion; Katherine Heigl showed off her bright side in London wearing a paillette creation by Naeem Khan; Ciara donned a body-con dress by Herve Leroux; and Kirsten Dunst opted for a cute blue Miu Miu strapless minidress. Each beauty stuns in her own way, but which star shines the brightest?

Last night an eclectic mix of designers gathered - many with models and starlets standing by - at Lincoln Center in NYC. Familiar faces shined, and really, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. This Week's Fab Favorite: Angie Harmon

You know when you can tell a woman is enjoying her frock? Here's when. Angie is the sight of maxi dress perfection at the 8th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Balli in LA in this sheer green printed and belted Kaufman Franco dress. The print and fit are stellar, but the wraparound, crisscross brown belt takes it to a more interesting place. Angie always manages to look good, no - great, but this maxi fits her personality as well - unique, fun, and party ready. She could have stopped with the exotic dress, but she added further flair with disc chandelier earrings. It's official: statement earrings are redivivus.

Trend Alert: Gilded Ladies

Want to be a solid gold hit at the holiday soiree? Do like these gilded ladies and do it up in sparkling, golden-hued gowns. I would like to point out that all three of these starlets are blondes - brunettes and redheads can shine equally as strong. Elizabeth Banks is straight up glam in her Kaufman Franco slit-front gown, Richie went retro in her heavily beaded Reem Acra, and Jessica Biel outshined in a strapless Oscar de la Renta column. I included gilded cocktail options for us, it's more pared down, unless your hot self has a fabulous upcoming red carpet to grace.

Fab Ad: Gucci Fall '09

Anja Rubik is quite the popular cat these days. She worked a sequined mini in Giuseppe Zanotti's Spring ads, seriously rocked Kaufman Franco at the CFDAs, and now she's Gucci's girl for Fall, along with Raquel Zimmerman, Natasha Poly, Freja Beha Erichsen, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Myf Shepherd, Dree Hemingway, and Jacquetta Wheeler. What you see here is an orgy of fashion. So rock 'n roll chic. What do you make of all of this?

Grammy Awards: Best Dressed

Compared to other award shows, the Grammy Awards tends to bring out the funky side of stars. You never know what you're going to see. Five ladies in particular brought their fashion A game tonight. Black was a big color on the red carpet, but Taylor Swift, in Kaufman Franco, stood ahead of the black pack. On the lighter end of the spectrum was Katy Perry in her dreamy pink Basil Soda gown. And, speaking of funky, Jennifer Hudson's origami dress had me staring. Together, we determined the standouts, but who takes the cake?
