We were bowled over by this breezy Summer look from Fab reader sergeantkero - not only does she look totally boho-chic in an ikat-print kimono, but she also manages to rock a pair of khaki short shorts with unbelievable ease. She accessorized the look with a pair of red leather sandals and a two-tone clutch. It's the perfect ensemble for a sunset-drenched dinner by the beach or cocktails with the girls.

Trend Alert: Kimono Cuts

There's something about kimono cuts that give off a Zen-like feel. Is it the wide sleeves or flattering shape? Or maybe it's the robe-inspired cut. Whatever it is, I dig it. Lauren Conrad Makes a Stylish Landing at LAX

Lauren Conrad landed in LA last night in a kimono-style floral jacket and a high bun. The former reality star and current Paper Crown designer and beauty guru has been doing a lot of traveling lately as she works on writing a book full of her hair and makeup tips. Lauren Conrad Beauty will be the follow-up title to her first tome, Lauren Conrad Style, which hit stores last year. Lauren may be focused on her burgeoning career as an author, but she'll be back on the small screen soon, as one of the very first celebrities to get Punk'd on the revived MTV series. Lauren was tricked into believing a woman was stuck in a garbage truck during her episode of the show, and after helping "free" the lady, Dax Shepard showed up to make the big reveal. Lauren was with a female friend during the taping, but was spotted out on several dates with Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough throughout September and October, though neither star has confirmed whether or not they are, or were, an item.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Hit Paris Fashion Week For Their Row Bags

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen threw themselves into the social whirl of Paris Fashion Week last night, arriving at the Montaigne Market shop to introduce their new handbags to Europe. The sisters launched their The Row bags at Barneys back in the US earlier this year as well. Mary-Kate, who was decked out in a unique tracksuit-meets-kimono ensemble, has traveled to France with Ashley following their stint at NYC's fashion week. The girls presented The Row's Spring 2012 collection and also sat front row to check out designs from their friends at J. Mendel.

Channeling a playfully Asian-inspired style, Katy opted for a beaded, cutout kimono minidress and a sweet parasol, then finished with candy-pink heels that incidentally matched her hot-pink locks. It's a bold look for Miss Perry, but we wouldn't expect anything less - do you love it?

Gwen, Zuma, and Kingston Play in the Dirt and Pick Their Own Produce

Gwen Stefani took Zuma and Kingston Rossdale on a mini adventure to Moorpark's Underwood Family Farm Saturday afternoon to pick fruits and vegetables. Despite the gloomy weather and a broken arm Zuma didn't let that stop him from joining in the fun. Gwen dressed down in a pea coat and trousers, but for her Harajuku-inspired tea party fundraiser earlier this month she chose an over the top hairstyle and sexy kimono-inspired romper. Gwen's philanthropic efforts raised more than $120,000 for Japan relief and to thank the donors Gwen and the members of No Doubt treated the guests to a surprise concert. She and her band have an album in the works, and Gwen says she's done with her solo career and wants to focus her efforts on collaborating with the group, fashion, and her family.

Gwen Stefani paid homage to her love of Japanese culture yesterday as she arrived to host a fundraising tea party for the earthquake-stricken country. She had her No Doubt bandmates Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young by her side as she showed up at Culver City, CA's Royal/T Cafe in Harajuku style, wearing cherry blossoms in her hair and a kimono-inspired romper. Gwen has been finding ways to give back to Japan ever since the disaster and also auctioned off some memorabilia on eBay earlier this year to help earn money for the cause. She and her band are also planning to put out a new album soon and have been in the studio working on new tracks since last year. The foursome are rumored to be gearing up for a major tour and the release of their first album in a decade, and No Doubt spoke with Entertainment Weekly about their years apart. In the magazine, Gwen says her successful solo career as a singer is almost certainly a thing of the past. She said, "That was a moment in time. It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you're at in that time in your life . . . [But] everything works out how it should."
